I dunno, I lag all the time... and I've never poofed there. It stripped me of -all- my corpses and defenses and fae. It was like death minus experience loss (which is better than death with experience loss...) but something is definately wrong.

That happens when all the data that is stored for online characters is wiped for some reason, it's rather surprising that it would happen for no reason - usually that only happens if there's some problem at login.

Same thing happened to me once, actually. Don't remember exactly, 'bout a week ago at a guess. Annoying.
