More players is always good. It means more money for the game, more people to interact with, etc, and we could stand to see a few new faces.

So, what do you do to bring people into something? You advertise! But there's many ways of doing so, and this particular one doesn't happen to cost Them anything.

Wouldn't it be neat if someone (like Fain wink.gif ) made a page advertisement for Lusternia, posted it on the site, and we were able to print it out and put them places?

Your favorite local hang out
There is a snazzy Lusternian advertisement here.
There are exits north, south, and out.

Comic book store
There is an awesome Lusternian ad here, hung with permission.
There are exits here, but the humour of the real-life rooms is wearing off, so no one cares where they are.

Anyone think this is a decent/workable idea?

or perhaps a webpage banner?

It'd be interesting. Combine Fain with Kaileigh's drawing abilities.

Unsolicited advertising can be tricky, organisations I've worked for have had trouble about where they can put their advertising without paying for it. Of course, we plaster it everywhere anyway, but the occasional prude complains.

hmm, i bet that they could get it on google ads. isn't it only like 60 cents a month or something for that? if it is i'd pay for it for them if i could!

While this is more of an Estarra/IRE thing, I personally don't see why you couldn't make your own fliers to put in places like gaming stores. I see ads for D&D games posted like that all the time.

What we need is someone to sue Lusternia for giving them Arthritis or for someone to be playing for so long they end up dieing in their chair.

That way it can get on the news, and then we can just have them drop the suit.

I think it's possible you've been playing so long you no longer understand the laws of reality. tongue.gif

Obviously the person bringing a suit for death would be a family member and not the person who actually died.

Actually, I think both posters came from a commercial. Trident gum was it? It was like:

"Four out of five dentists recommend Trident White, but what about the fifth dentist?"

And it showed four dentists saying "Yes" and then panning towards the fifth who is being attacked by a squirrel or something that crawls up his pants and bites something so that he yells "NOOOOOOOOOO!"

Well yes the general idea.

But I drew the poster!
