Ever try a Multiversal Character?

I was just wondering.

After thinking about Elric and The Eternal Champion, I was wondering if anybody ever tried to do something similar with all of IRE games, that is have four very similar characters on each game, and/or try to establish this tenuous multiversal connection to their other characters elsewhere, even if it's "I have dreams about being a vampire on another world", or something like that.

Just figured I'd ask since there seem to be fans who move around a lot, etc.

Multiversal characters in games not intended for that purpose are very, very, VERY bad.

A character cannot be from another world/realm/dimension because, within the boundaries of Lusternia, such a place does not exist.

I once met a novice in Newton who claimed to be from another world and had been transported to Lusternia via a wormhole or something. He kept insisting on it even after I oocly explained to him that, no, that can't happen.

I have the running theory that Yudhe is actually the Unnameable Horror. tongue.gif

Of course, I'm still giggling from when my occultist was told that Sarapis was the Floater in the outhouse of Chaos.

I didn't really mean refer to it in conversations, but rather subtle, such as within the jounrals, or at least having the same personalities in all the game you place. I wasn't suggesting they overtly do it.

Not all the EC were aware of each other, for instance. I was thinking more of parallel versions of the same being.

I was kinda thinking about having a Tully in each realm, a dwarf who sweep up the city, etc... But in the first 3 realms Tully isn't allowed (maybe a denzien--or Yrael had mentioned to me OOC that it might have been the same of some famous fantasy character, I don't remember), and I can't change my name here anymore. dry.gif

Yudhe's son is the Unnameable Horror, Dynara is Entropy and Magnora is Discord.

I think.

So the Spawn of the Unnameable Horror is Estarra's baby? Like with the Xenomorphs in Alien: Ressurection? Sweet.

Plus, Servelan merged with the Unnameable Horror to form... Eris. A.k.a Estarra.

It's all so neat!

I've done something, somewhat like this for most of the games.

Achaea and Aetolia I took the same character base: a rajamalan that was rather innocent but self driven. The first failed at being a magi (due to a desperate fear of the earth element: didn't expect stone fist to be THE way to bash tongue.gif) and ended up a Sentinel. The second ended up a Shadowsnake/Syssin with a very interesting "selfish loyalty" mentality. One ended up peacfully serving her Goddess, the other lost her will and... well nevermind sad.gif .

Two seperate characters realy, but they started out as twins in a paralel universe.

Imperium I changed that a bit with a Priest-type character (forgot the formal name). The character was different but the angel she summoned had the same personality as my Aetolia character.

You COULD say that my Aetolia character ended up an angel in Imperium to atone for her deeds, but Aetolia nad Imperium have no link so it was just coincidence. Of course most of that is just history in my head since I only played Imperium about a month.

I was thinking of finding a way to do the same here but I couldn't find it. Thus I didn't get to link all 4 realms.

It works perfectly! <3

It's an interesting idea, but one that would not work with IRE games (save for maybe Achaea to Aetolia, in the early days).
Tenebrae2005-08-21 16:36:25
heh... if only i can become the Tenebrae -boots Tenebrae the thief lord- in Imperian, then I am complete... It would be cool though, if all of the realms were identical at one point, and they join sides.

And now you know where the human race unofficially came from and how they were unofficially created before coming here... (I say "unofficially" because I do not know if Estarra intended it to be an official linkage between the games or if she was just reusing ideas for stories from when playing Eris.)
