Shameless plug for Skype. It's like the talk thing on AIM or whatever except it works alot better, and all you need is a mic. I use my gaming headset thats got a mic and it works wonderful.

All you gotta do is install it, create an account, search for thakin, add me to your contacts, and call me! It's even got conferencing for up to 4 people at once, and it sounds so much better than a phone. Free to use, if you use a headset there's no phone to hold, and it'll work all over the world.

Forget the phone to talk to other Lusternians, and try this out.

Yeah its all free, you can pay for it and get like voicemail and stuff but to talk its all free.

It's $0.023 a minute for SkypeOut, which lets you call a real phone or cell phone using Skype, but computer to computer is free.

I wish I could use skype! Unfortunately I'd have to buy this 40 dollar device to plug into my computer just so I can plug in a mic, laaaame. Someone can call and chat to me though .
