To be able to get suspect, perhaps we can make it so ents stop attacking and declarations are revoked on death? Because, you know, my enemy list consists of those who are city mates. That's it, really. My demon attacks them after death, removing suspect, because I have them enemied, so certain skills work.

This wouldn't work out, because then if someone killed a guardian, they wouldn't be able to take out the ent after without the guardian getting vengeance, which really isn't fair.
Yrael2005-08-26 12:29:48
So Guardians should not get suspect at all?
Ashteru2005-08-26 13:14:05
Oh, yeah. Ents shouldn't hit me if their owner is graced.
Unknown2005-08-26 13:16:34
Edit: I agree with Ashteru about how ents shouldn't attack you, if they're peaced or graced
Yrael2005-08-26 13:46:00
Just death in general. Remove declaration and set all the ents to passive; I'd like to get status on more people than just Kharvik.
Sylphas2005-08-26 14:47:30
Have it stop hitting. Have it not hit back. But don't make it so that you can't clean up after the nasty guardian dies and leaves their minions behind.
Tsakar2005-08-26 14:51:54
I believe the main thing Yrael's trying to say is when someone with ents dies, to have their declare's expire and their entities stop attacking, versus keep attacking after they die and thus removing any suspects they might have gotten from being killed. Which would mean others are free to kill the entities if they will, but the ent person will at least have the suspect from being killed, but then I could have read it wrong
Sylphas2005-08-26 15:03:33
If declaration expires, killing their ent will count as hitting the person, giving them vengeance, which is stupid. Guardians having this problem with suspect is also stupid.

Well thats true, maybe not the expire the declaration then *shrugs*, but this wouldn't necessarily stand only for guardians, but anyone with entities that are ordered to kill in a fight, do wiccans fae disapear when they die? If they don't the same thing could happen for them, but I haven't heard anything/seen any posts from them about it so maybe its not a problem for them
Ashteru2005-08-26 15:48:17
Well, I was attacked by Shadowdancer fae while the Shadowdancer herself was graced.
Tsuki2005-08-26 15:50:48
I know my Fae have disappeared when I've died.
Ceren2005-08-26 21:42:12
Make ent deaths not give suspect/vengeance. They are summoned at the risk of being killed anyway.
Terenas2005-08-26 21:53:31
Why not just make angels and demons disappear upon the owner's real death (not Vitae and Lich) just like faes? And ents shouldn't attack the owner's enemies unless ordered to, that would stop the exploit of the Champion's pets bugs as well as stop people from using their faes to kill behind grace.

How about no. I want my damn Fae to stay after my death... an easy way to fix the problem above is that upon death, all entities are pacified so the people can still kill them, but they won't initially hit on their own accord to remove suspect.
Terenas2005-08-26 21:58:39
Whatever works, just as long as people can stop exploiting the ents bugs.
