Everyone does not refuse to spar you. I have never refused to spar you and have in fact asked you to spar me before. But, you return with the "I do not like fighting in a demesne” response. Yet here you are, sparing a young druid in his demesne.

I obviously meant anyone in the combat rankings, specifically people within 200 points of me. Geb has far too much self-proclaimed modesty to join the rankings, else of course I'd spar him.

I'll be honest, I don't like doing non-combat spars where I lose some defs, or might lose (IE, Geb) and therefore lose all my defs and they cost a ton to renew. That isn't some excuse, it's the plain damn truth.

If he were to join the combat rankings and get high enough to spar me, I wouldn't refuse.

I have little modesty because I find male IRE players to be, almost without a fault (and I excuse present company, as well as those who know me as a friend), such imbeciles that all sense of tact is lost on them, and all they acknowledge is a sharp insult or being killed. I assure you, if IRE were filled with reasonable, competent, post-teen gentlemen - I would be a different man entirely.

Hajamin is the perfect example. I try to calmly and politely inform him that he is doing irrevocable harm to the city, and he responds by getting the last word in, disappearing from mortal view then muting me.

The rankings are MADE meaningless by people who spar selectively. It's only POSSIBLE to spar people within 200 points of you, sir clueless, and the reason I compete in them is because instead of Geb or Daevos (superb fighters) at the top, it's people like Eiru and Kariol who I personally feel shouldn't be there. I act as rankings regulator until they're removed or changed

In my opinion, as long as #1 in the rankings can spar anyone and win, s/he deserves that position.
