shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. Breaking through the
dimensions, a planar rift slashes through the air here. A statue of Cuber
stands here, memorializing his noble spirit. A small key lies on the ground
here. Aqua Initiate Arriane is here. Apostle Ordos, Knight of the Dove is here.
He wields a silver longsword in his left hand and a steel broadsword in his
right.
You see exits leading north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, down
(open door), and in.

Reaching up as high as the eye can see looms the awesome presence of a living
totem. The reflection of a monolith of stone flickers and wavers in the air
here, occasionally allowing glimpses of a grove on the other side of the image.
An obsidian eye sigil is here. There are 4 frost hags here. A mature birch tree
stands proudly here.

trees here grow along a perfect avenue albeit slightly backwards. The tops of
the trees are embedded in the ground and the roots reach for the sky. Somehow
the circulation works as they seem to be perfectly healthy and several birds
fly by, although upside down also. Despite the visual warning, several signs
have been placed along the road stating that all travellers should stay on the
path. A flowering archway rises up from the ground. An oak sapling clings
tenaciously to the ground here.

here, tiny golden strands that wave softly despite the absence of a breeze. The
sound of lapping water fills the air, somehow tranquil in this otherwise
strange environment. Shimmering liquid coruscates throughout the bluish
archway, refracting all available light and casting a wavering ambiance over
the area. The eerie sound of a melodious whistle fills the air here as softly
churning mists surround a disk of floating smoky quartz, bathing the
environment in a soft luminescence.

I issued a while ago but I'm not sure I can even be contacted down here, or if it actually worked. I can't even check the status of it and I certainly can't get any tells or aethers out. I'm stuck underground, under an ocean. Yay.

Heh. Something similar happened to me in the Glade Arena a while back. Went to swim south, and ended up.. 'In the mountains above' somewhere. Bug with swimming south, mm? tongue.gif

I wonder... I swam "southwest" in the Glomdoring, and ended up flying above the area I swam to. I just landed and went on my way... it appears swimming in general is a little off elevation-wise.

Yeah, this happened to me too, in the Inner Sea. I just quit, logged on again, and drowned. That seemed to work for me, although others may require a different approach.

all i can say is 'Ouch'

have had something similar happen to me. Tried to burrow into paavik and somehow got hit by the statue underground. couldn't eat herbs or focus body, and had assumed that SIP and DRINK were identical and since sip didn't work underground, i thought drink wouldn't, so i sat there for 10 minutes before someone told me to try DRINK ALLHEALE.

You can 'burrow above' even if you don't have the skill to get out of that, we had a 'unique' situation where anyone teleporting to nexus (the megalith of doom) wound up 9 levels underground, everyone could get out just by burrowing above enough times even those that did not have the skill (the ur'guards and nihilists). Oddly enough I had seen another 'megalith of doom' down there at the 9th level, and when I summoned my taint worm it did this: A taint wyrm burrows into the ground. A moment later he arrives with the Megalith of Doom wrapped in its tail. After which everyone teleporting to the nexus ended up where they were supposed to (above ground)
