Manse circle- 100cr
This amazing item allows for instant transportation between manses. When purchased, it will give you two circles that are linked to each other. Simply DROP one in your room, and the owner of the other manse will also DROP theirs. MANSE LINK will then connect the two circles together. ENTER CIRCLE will allow transport to the rooms that you linked.
Alternate use: TURN CIRCLE $dir. The other person must turn thier circle in the opposite direction in their room, and it will create an exit to that direction, similar to if you had just linked one of your own rooms together.
Appearance: This curious contraption whirrs and humms in tune to some unknown beat. Every once in a while, a soft pulse of white light can be seen emanating from its middle. Strange runes cover the circle, in some forgotten language.
Dropped: A magical circle lies here, forgotten by its owner.

I thought they worked in manses, but here's the thing: I have paintings everywhere in my manse. If one of them is enchanted... it's gonna be like finding a shovel in a haystack. A big haystack.

But the mechanisms are already there. There's no point in another artifact to do exactly the same thing paintings do.
Maybe you could note on your shop sign where the important paintings are?
Or better yet, what about customizing a painting so it stands out?

my painting enchantment fizzled out after I used it three times.

I could customize a painting. But how many people look at my paintings? O_o
And, how many people look at my sign? Regularly? Checking for updates? A circle would let them know that its a place to get to another place.

I'd rather them work on events/skills/quests/villages/bug fixes/codingotherneato things versus an artifact that isn't really necessary - because you've got paintings that do the same thing.
