There's probably an old thread about this, but I really don't feel like digging anything up and it's doubtful this one will stay up too long anyway so...

Anyone feel like sharing their favorite music/artists? I like anything really, but I loooove Incubus, Silverchair, some Hendrix (Duh), and some J-Pop (Gackt, Do as Infinity, random stuff I've heard on anime.. HOUKI BOSHI! ninja.gif ).

I'm looking for new stuff to listen to so.. share or shoo! tongue.gif

And OCRemix people, get Beatdrop's Catapult. One of the better ones they've put up there in a while (Although I liked both the Tsugunai mix and Ghost of Mars recently...)

Only skinny quasi-japanese people and overweight wannabe-japanese people listen to anime music.

Rawk! Favourite bands of the moment are Franz Ferdinand, the White Stripes, Red hot Chilli Peppers, Gorillaz, Coldplay and Radiohead. Classic stuff I like includes the Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, the Who, T-Rex and - of course - Hendrix.

Psssh. I'm applying this to my future career. Plus I wub.gif the gir.. culture. And Japanese music is like.. leagues over the generic American music that's out now. Only a few bands are worth mentioning on U.S. shores. It's why we must summon the old rockers and hold an old fashioned Woodstock where we're drooling from the sound of the Jimi Hendrix Experience.

On an awkward side note.. if you watch the woodstock video with his band you can see them like.. take a quick break during one of his finger-splitting solos.

Shall we crown Kidhendrix the freak, Jack? Since you obviously keep losing it

Must.. save reputation. I.. used to like Green Day? Eninem is good, despite popular belief.

Oooh. Now I want to post lyrics of songs I wrote. (Maybe I ought to play my guitars that I haven't touched in forever.)
Munsia2005-09-02 08:58:06
Only 4 songs I listen to from Eminem and I have two albums of Green Day
heh

Anything by Juno Reactor or Rammstein. Or really, anything techno-ey. Wub Techno.
Unknown2005-09-02 15:01:52
....hehe.

Ask anyone that's listened to me DJ. I have a VERY ecclectic mix of songs. Everything from Manson to Ciara to Tim McGraw to Andrews Sisters.

*shrug* If I can sing to it, and it has good lyrics, I tend to like it. No matter what type. Though I usually dislike rap and hiphop for that reason..why would I want to listen to someone scream at me? tongue.gif

And Shikari says my music scares Him. BLEH on You. BLEH I SAY!! quickexit.gif

My Playlist embodies my favourite music. Right now it's playing my boyfriends techno crud, but OTHER than that..

Yellowcard, Bon Jovi, Black Sabbath (Pre-Deo, OZZY 4 LYFE!), Marilyn Manson (Oooh Tainted Looove..), Meatloaf's I Will Do Anything For Love, The Moody Blues' Nights in White Satin, New Found Glory, then (all of you can go die) the RENT CDs, with the original broadway cast, all rounded out with Uncle Cracker's Follow Me.

I also listen to the bands that's been highlighted. I also like The Killers, Aerosmith, couple Greenday songs, Ben Folds Five and various Japanese bands. (Not the anime stuff.)

EDIT: Rob Thomas too.
