I'm a bit confused as to how comm quests work. I was under the impression that now, when you do a commodity quest that commodity appeared in the commodity shop of the respective village. That doesn't seem to happen with the villages that I tried though (Acknor being the one that I have tried the most in).

So if not then they appear like they do before? ie After a certain period of time. Or maybe enemy status affects this? Or maybe it's not the same for all villages?

It definitely works in Paavik and Dairuchi, because right after you asked me I checked it there and it worked perfectly...unsure.gif

Could people test please?

I didnt test it yet. But it always worked for me from this change that have been bade long time ago. From since when i need wood, i just going to Glomdoring kill some ravenwood trees and bring lumber to right denizen, and right after that right ammount of wood appears in village comms shop and i belive that same ammount of wood appears in city comms/communs shop that controll village.
Same was with leather and evrything else that i was doing.

Hartstone mulched all of northern Serenwilde, handed in 248 pieces of lumber, Gregori bought that much wood from the general store for our commshop. So yes, it works.

Like the cities, villages have a set "reserve", Alger. So if you're doing something the village gets naturally, like, silk in Angkrag, for example, you'll see them very quickly going into stock. But if you're doing, like, wood in Angkrag, or Acknor, which normally doesn't produce much/any, you'll have to fill the village's reserves first.

At least, that's how I interpretted the change.

what about rockeaters, cause not long ago when I was hunting them I'd check to see if gems went up and it didn't so I assumed it just took time?

Depends who you gave them to, I imagine. All I said is my interpretation of what we were told.

And the villages can only sell 225 of each commodity so if the village already had that many it won't show.

If you think a commodity quest is not producing a commodity, you can bug it with the name of the village and what the specific commodity quest is.

(Also, some sneaky people may wait around for others to do commodity quests then buy the commodity before the questor has a chance to check it.)
