We totally need a morrowind mod for Lusternia, that'd be amazing.
If we could take EVERYTHING about this game that rocks, and put it into a game with pictures, I'd be all over that. Imagine me with the construction set, instead of a text based city.

Lmao we were talking about Lusterwind before, i would really like to do it but we'd need more people
Iridiel2005-11-16 09:56:16
And well, a development team with graphic abilities, around 4 years time to develop, and managing to get IRE in the mood to pay for a graphical mud
Peeka2005-11-16 15:35:03
Too bad the Morrowind engine isn't multiplayer

Plugin things? I can think of a couple that I like but can't recall most of 'em offhand.
My vote for the thing that does the least but is wonderfully helpful, however, goes to the RealSignposts plugin by ... well, the readme thing says "©2002 by Matthias Kath" so search for that. Of course, if you use fast travel everywhere and don't wander around near the signposts, you probably won't agree. I like it, though.

Hehe I've been working on a Telvanni so yeah fast travel is the way
Peeka2005-11-16 15:43:56
Ohh I remember one mod that was great!! You HAVE to get "The Underground"!
Richter2005-11-16 15:43:56
Fain! *whipcrack* Let's make a Lusterwind, you're good at that kind of stuff, right?
Peeka2005-11-16 15:44:35
I know how to use the construction set, I can help too!
Richter2005-11-16 15:55:56
I wish I knew...
You know though, once Oblivion comes out for PC, they'll probably have a new version of the construction set. *drool*

lol perhaps people should start working on their own areas, perhaps someone doing some skins?
Peeka2005-11-16 16:08:38
The way Morrowind is now, it's already halfway to being like Lusternia, save for the different planes. But just making a door act like a rift would be super easy, and you can already make underwater rooms, and such. With a good models and some awesome textures, it would work! But a huge downside would be the lack of multiplayer ability. I wouldn't want to play a single-player Lusty even if it was pretty to look at.

I didn't want to do this. The list is so large and painful, after all, and I've modded a few of my own personal mods while playing the game over the past couple years. ::sighs:: Well, let us begin.
The Underground - Buggy, massive, but a blast if you can get it to work. Of the three games I've tried to complete it on, all three have bugged eventually. Made it pretty far on my war mage at least. It's a storyline mod involving vampires mostly. Very dark and gothic.
Aerelorn's Combat Enhanced and Morrowind Enhanced - These two mods make combat much more interesting than normal. They make the less used weapon types a great deal more fun to play with.
Any of Innumerable Texturing Packs - Just to make the world look better. Better Bodies and Better Heads are my suggestions, though there are imperfections as with all mods of that size.
The Problem With Milie - A very cool little mod that gives a full quest line to Milie Hastien of the Balmora Fine Clothier shop.
Uvirith Unleashed - Expands your personal Telvanni home by a huge amount, making it truly worthy of the Archmage of the Telvanni.
Carnithus' Armamentarium Complete - Tons of dark, vicious looking armour and blades. Good luck finding his shop, but it's well worth the effort if you're playing a more vicious or evil character!
Dremora - There's two mods out there that make Dremora a playable race. I prefer the older one as the models are more realistic to me, but the newer one has some interesting glowmap stuff on their bodies. Take your pick. Nasty race, and one I thoroughly enjoy playing.
J-Ninja Armor - If you want to look like a ninja, this is the armour set you want. Needs to be tweaked a bit and there's a female set of pants that are broken, but it can be fixed, if not quite perfectly.
Object And Game Balance Mod - Makes range matter even in melee combat. Spears hit from far away, daggers hit from not away. ::grins:: Does many many things, but it's a pretty rare mod. I have it stored on DVD.
My personal mods have been the addition of Warlock sets of enchanted armour, rebalancing all of the spears in the game to actually be worthwhile, a couple custom classes, and a few small bug fixes. None of them exist any longer I believe, as I had to uninstall Morrowind from my system due to my teeeny hard drive.

No, you're right, but imagine the fun we could have by making NPC's for everyone. Richter gives quests in the night city, large, naked Roark pops in every once in a while and gives blindness, Yrael gives thief quests and then tries to beat you at them...

hmm.... i'd re-write the Assassins from Tribunal and make them like i want Saran to be in a little while (i want him to become a little more agressive but still remain emotional). Imagine everytime you wake up you could be attacked by an elfen who wants to fight but will get owned and probably try to use the romp, whee, moonsong or tigger emotes
Ashteru2005-11-16 18:42:59
Yeah...I'd have some nice mods downloaded too....just sucks that they don't work on my version.

Better Heads
Better Bodies
Old hat, though. Oblivion's going to make MW look cheap by comparison.

Isn't he still busy working on the Half Life 2 Medieval mod?
Rauros2005-11-17 15:07:34
I was barely able to run Morrowind on my computer. I can just imagine the specs Oblivion will have.
I haven't played it in months though. After I beat both expansions, I lost interest. The only mods I ever used were Better Faces/Bodies, and my custom-made Creeper, with a 5 million gold max and Magical transportation skill to any mage guild
