I was just wondering what the deal is with the Charites at the moment? Granted, someone took care of a tweak I asked for in a message, but at the moment, I've had a design sitting for approval for about 2 weeks now (or more ) and a couple others that have been waiting for around a week.

I'm assuming this has something to do with the big coding push for libraries, in which case it's understandable, or I could be wrong...

In the event that it's the former or something similar, any estimate on when they can get back in business? Thanks

They've done this before. Completely stopped for a week or two. It's very irritating, but since I'm the only Glomdorian tailor who actually bothers with designs, it's not really an issue for me.

Approval time seemed to go from about three days to two weeks.

I thought they did it at the end of the year. Wondered why my book designs weren't getting approved.

It's most likely because of all of the recent changes and skill additions we've had put into place, as well as the bugs and tweaking that goes along with that. The two weeks prior to the skill release went about in the exact same fashion as it is right now with approval times, but prior to that, things were get approved within a few days. I'd expect it to normal once things settle in with the skills and most of the major problems are somewhat smoothed over. That's just my guess.

Heh, we can now predict when new skills will come out by how fast the Charities approve of designs?

I think it would be cool if they recruited people to become part of the Charites like with Guides...I'd vote for Ialie to become one!

Oh and... take a look at the list of cartels... keep in mind each of them can submit up to 4 designs every 12 days and each of those needs to be proofread and approved for style and consistency, each design having between 3-6 paragraphs of text. Do the maths.

Now throw in the thought that the Charites really are the same people that are working on everything else...

Aye, LOADS of work.

Still, two weeks is kind of a record I think.
