Subj: Envoy Updates

This is the first round of updates, hopefully over the next few days We
will have them all finished.

ELEMENTALISM:
Geyser can now be used to put out firewalls.

AQUAMANCY:
Healspring will only atempt to heal body parts that are actually
damaged. It will also heal a bit more than before.
Liquidform now has a chance to heal deep wounds.
The damage type on staff has been changed.

GEOMANCY:
The attack messages for staff has been changed(as have Aquamancers staff
messages).
Earthquake will no longer put up stonewalls. Instead it will put up
duststorm.
Sickening gives level 1 sip penalty.

DEMESNE GENERAL:
Watch will only show people entering and exiting if you are on the same
plane as your demesne.
Demesne summon will no longer cost power if you fail to summon them.
Sense will now show the room name of people in your demesne.
You will once again see the "You feel the magics of..." message when
force casting.

Shamarah did 1083 unsurged and 1332 to me surged. Seems a bit better than before.

That L1 sip penalty is nasty, too!

Note that due to how the global damage code handles damage when you are underwater, all hot attacks are weaker, but all cold attacks are stronger. It is always been that way, but that is one motivation for the change.

Except, Aquamancers can't demesne under water.. so.. you probably won't see many there anyway tongue.gif

Thank you for bringing back the message when you force someones demesne.
Old thing but I always loved it and cried when it was deleted..
watch still doesnt work correctly sadly though. doesnt show someone transversing which is a pain in the arse.

Happy for the sip penalty smile.gif That was one of the major fixes we wanted. Hopefully we'll see our mage/druid trans skils changed too

I bet you do like it, since now you can easily tank that damage without effort. 1300 out of your surge max of about 8000 is nothing. I just hope they up the damage in our demesnes to make up for this, considering the fact that our demesne does a pittance amount of damage.

*Note: I hope they fix the protections scrolls to work as intended. Even while using the scroll, I still grow hungry from the gas.

Our staff now sucks utterly, healspring is giving me MORE wounds instead of healing them, next thing I know Icefloe will be setting people on fire and Preserve will kill me and give my enemy 50 credits.

Hah, Mugwumps are actually resistant to aqua staffs now as opposed to being obscenely vulnerable to them.

What were the changes to the staff attack messages? I'm too low in Geomancy to check that out.
