BOND RETRIEVE
Local area only, it actually finds the item and brings it back to you.

If not, how about
BOND GET
BOND DROP

So using look you see an item you want, and have your companion get it. I know you can make em drop items, but they have to be in the same room. If not the get skill, then make em able to drop using the bond, so we can use companions to send stuff like achaean falcons could.

Only problem I see is storerooms but if a player is in a storeroom and the door is closed, your hound cant seek to them anyways so only way it could get in would be if the storeroom door is open, in which case sending your companion in isnt the best choice anyways. Or make it so that they can't retrieve items if the item is behind a magically locked storeroom door.

Other idea is stats like falcons in Achaea. Can train em once a day, either in speed so they do things faster, strength so they do more damage, fitness which gives them more health so they dont die as fast. Max stats at 250 each? I wanna see some dogs of war!

I see potential for abuse. I already think being able to poof into a guildhall is ridiculous let alone rob them from afar if they have anything stored.

How about just drop then? So we can use em to deliver stuff like falcon deliver.

I loved Falcons. Could buy a full suit of armour without lifting a finger.

God damn you people are lazy.

And must every game turn into Pokemon? sad.gif

Some other ideas would be to allow people to follow the companion so you can send him on rescue trips like those saint bernards.

Also, it would be nice if you could force the companion to Follow someone else, or even to have an ability to cloak the timberwolf.

Also it would be nice if you could force them to climb out of the trees when they get stuck.

Yeah mine got stuck in the mountains when I went around scaling stuff. Had to go back into the mountains, recall him, then go down to normal elevation.

The following thing would be awesome. Some newbie is lost somewhere, so you tell them to follow your companion then recall it, leading them to you.

ORDER HOUND FOLLOW

Not a bond skill, but a normal Loyal skill.

I'd like the druid to get a bonus if his familiar is following, for example: increased charisma, increased % of ego, 1 level of mana regen, or something of that sort.

Seems to me that could be one of the functions of having a companion deeply bonded to your spirit.

Being immortal isn't incentive enough?

To lock away a companion and never allow it to be vulnerable? Yes, yes it is.
