Seems like a possible conflict of interest to me?

(Wyrms): Daganev says, "Welcome Murphy to d'Ebonguard."

Probably because Murphy has helped your commune on numerous occassions and has already shown himself worthy in battle, and in protecting those that need help. Maybe you should be glad that he is with you guys and not against you.

You guys just got a lot better because of him. You should be jumping for joy.
Daevos2005-09-13 01:23:37
Oh, didn't you know, Ialie. Glomdoring has a problem with nurturing strength.
Unknown2005-09-13 01:25:41
I don't know who nullobject is, but maybe it's about that weird feeling that you get when you have to work your way up tediously and then someone just comes from the outside and gets it for granted just like that.
Murphy2005-09-13 01:29:23
ahh thanks ialie

Honestly, Most of the ebonguard had served under me (including your champion and GM) even melanchthon.

Secondly, i've died and sacrificed more for glomdoring than most IN glomdoring.

thirdly, just hold on and see how much i help the commune
Ialie2005-09-13 01:29:24
From the outside? Is that what he gets for assisting multiple times to aid Glomdoring? Murphy has been helping Glomdoring since the beginning I believe? Meh. I think he deserves all he gets.

It isn't like he isn't well known. It isn't like he has never helped. I could understand something like that, but its freaking MURPHY!
Xenthos2005-09-13 01:33:05
We actually have guild advancement paths. If you follow the paths, you get advanced, it's that simple. Murphy already completed a path. (For example, a combat path that takes a lot of time to train yourself, but if you're already decent you can pass in 20 minutes, or a power task that anyone can do even if they don't spend any time training, but takes a LOT longer).

The only thing somewhat "sketchy" about it is him getting out of novicehood early which is sorta against our scrolls, but as stated above, he has helped us a lot and already was sort of an honourary Ebonguard.

Aye, Murphy has been around for ages. He's a damn good fighter and has helped Glomdoring a lot in the past.

Oh, and Glomdoring is totally ape**** when it comes to rewarding people. On Farson I got GR3, CR3, two aideships, and a trademaster position in about 3 weeks.

It's about the only way we have to try and encourage people to be active and work... we've already got limited people, so we need to reward the few we DO have. wink.gif

That was my fault. Damn me for not judging Farson by what Guido did

See, when I'm not cheating and griefing I'm a valuable member of the community. *Sagenod*
Murphy2005-09-13 01:56:55
for the record, i was prepared to go through novicehood if it was required.
Unknown2005-09-13 02:02:21
I only know 80 percent of the information behind Kaervas being kicked out, and all of it says he was removed because someone didn't like him. With Ethelon in Magnagora, please don't screw this up with Murphy. He is what you guys need as a leader and a fighter
Unknown2005-09-13 02:02:48
Oh, I was just saing that some amount of fairness should be kept.
Meaning that he should do the requirements just like everyone else has to. If it takes him only 10 minutes, it's cool.
Acrune2005-09-13 02:03:14
You tainted need to stop hopping around, its rough updating my name colors on zmud sad.gif
Murphy2005-09-13 02:05:31
i've done all the requirements that have been required to anyone else. Including the 200k donation to the guild.

The novice advancement part was fair I believe, because I'm not a bloody novice
Unknown2005-09-13 02:08:15
I never had to donate 200K.
