Rain and sap

Nature rain should remove sap and mud. Can't see why we need elemental showers to do it.

Besides, finding a bloody enchanter is going to take a few years. crying.gif

All we'd need to do is add a targetted functionality to the skill. NATURE RAIN NEJII. Also great for illustrating those days when you feel like you've got your own personal stormcloud hanging over you.

Edit: Not ectoplasm, mind. That would definitely require the elemental power to get rid of it.

Mud and sap though are certainly going to be washed off by rain.

I meant to submit this for the envoy reports actually. It would be nice.

Sounds really nice. Add stink to that list!
Unknown2005-09-21 02:57:08
I dunno.. when I get sap on my hands, when chopping wood and such, it usually takes serious soap to get it off. tongue.gif

If aquamancer water gently showering on you does it, so will a storm's downpour. wink.gif

What does rain do now exactly? I remember before it did...uhh nothing. Did it get changed at all?
Sylphas2005-09-21 02:59:44
Puts out fire, firewalls, and removes skunk stench.

Unless it has the same requirements to it as Cleanse does, it should not cure Sap. Mud, maybe.
Unknown2005-09-21 03:00:26
It would put out fires, if we had them.

At the moment, it washes away skunk stink from a room, and puts out any fires on anyone in the room.
Unknown2005-09-21 03:00:53
What requirements does cleanse have?
Sylphas2005-09-21 03:03:40
If you can't cudgel me, you can't cleanse.
Unknown2005-09-21 03:05:23
I don't understand, is rain easier to pull off somehow? Shouldn't be.
Vix2005-09-21 03:07:11
We'd put Elemental enchanters out of some jobs though. They don't get as many cool skills as Cosmic ones do. Just icewall, gust, and um... waterbreathe?
Sylphas2005-09-21 03:31:24
I'm not sure, I just wanted to mention it, in case it's easier to do.

Nature Rain requires and uses equilibrium and costs .... here, easier to quote it.

You raise your hands and clouds form and darken overhead, releasing a heavy
rain that drenches the area.

It's more about whether you can do it while paralysed, with broken limbs, etc.

You must have two legs to do that.

There's one. Can't test the rest as easily as shoving m'self out of the trees. happy.gif

It does work indoors, which is kinda odd.
Unknown2005-09-21 03:54:28
Yeah, that should be changed.

It needs to - it's the only way to remove skunk stink in a room at the moment.
