Ok, here is my situation. With an alt, I tried to swim in a direction. I ended up burrowed. I am unable to burrow above since I am in the water. I can't do anything else, including use portals to escape. Any hints/suggestions/ideas?

I'd like to giggle, but I'd just have to say wait.

I myself chortled a little bit at first. But then I realized that, if I was indeed a fresh new newbie, I would be quite upset. I can't talk on newbie, I can't portals, I can't do anything really. A super-newbie wouldn't know about issuing or anything. So really, they would just be discouraged and suicide/quit/ect.

I remember when I was a newbie the first time (Achaea/Aetolia) I got stuck in the intro quests, where you had to use HELP SAYS. I was sitting there for half an hour staring at it on and off, till I just gave up and quit.

Good thing I logged back on a few days later, eh?

Yeah, I personally think that until this bug is fixed, the Guides should announce about issueing in one of their informative macros, about how it IS NOT used for any problems save this one

Guide spam is horrible already... There's this one that's about ten lines that kills me every time I see it.

Yes! Agreed. I was out melding, and suddenly BAM! got hit with a huge blob of green, courtesy of one of the guides. I'm sure it helps the novices out, but ... dang, it makes me jumpy and twitchy.

The one about smilies and netspeak?

Would be nice if guide macros didn't spam mentors, but that's probably asking too much from the coders.

If they're long, they're that way for a reason. you get used to it, or turn it off.

I also can't suicide! Heh. If I could I would just do that and remake him exactly the same and simply never go swimming. I do hate leaving 'loose newbie' alts that I start, get bored with, and never play again, so I always suicide them away. However, this makes it difficutlt. Heh.

There's really no way they could do that, with how the speeches happen.
