The draft of the sunrise
Lays pregnant on the crashing waves
Her stomach blooming with life
As her hair of dawn is made silent

A grove is quiet in the eve
This sacred place guarded by whispers
That ring from the canopy of leaves
That nestle themselves against the sky's embrace

Beauty is all around us
Quiet and complacent
Like a prayer spoken from destiny
And weaved together by nightfall

Stars relinquish their light
Tiny pin pricks in the black fabric above
As a moon casts itself eerily before the shadows
Sacrificing her face for twilight

Halls lay empty and beds are filled
While dreams race alongside the wind
Chasing hopes and fears that are yet to awaken
From the love affair of angels and demons

The dawn comes again
Washing the night away in its brilliance
The world awakens for another day
Only to fall asleep again

This is Strength.
