ok... so I've read Feist's Magician Apprentice and Master and ordered both Silverthorn and Darkness... today Darkness arrived with a note that Silverthorn was out of stock for the moment... What am I to do? Can I read Darkness without having read Silverthorn or will it spoil things for me? Do I have to know Silverthorn to be able to not get lost in Darkness?!?!?
*breathes* *calms*
anyway... do you think it'd be better for me to wait till I get Silverthorn (might be a week) or should I give in to my inner demon's throwing a tantrum because it's not getting its daily shot of kickass fantasy novel reading, and dive into Darkness?
Summed up in Pictures so Kalo can give an opinion too:

Wait for it first, don't spoil things!

What Thaemorn said.

If it was most of his other work, you could get away with it, but Silverthorn DOES majorly lead into Darkness.

Oh and I suggest you visit your local library - most librarys tend to stock Raymond E. Feist, especially his first trilogy.

Second-hand.
Four of the five books from the first trilogy/follow-ups that I own were second-hand. I bought The King's Buccaneer new because I couldn't find it anywhere second-hand.
