Can you remove a Karma Curse?

Back to Common Grounds.

I just got an in-game message from Amaru that he wants the Karma Curse I gave him last weekend removed.

1) Can I do this? I was told by others that it wasn't possible, and the help files don't seem to indicate that this is possible.

2) Assuming I can do this--SHOULD I do this? He jumped me while I was sleeping in the WWI, after the little mistake I made, and since Tully doesn't engage boyos in combat I'm not entirely sure I should cancel this out. Based on your experiences, will the player behind Amaru appreciate this?

Just let me know...Gonna be off-line in an hour and I'll make my decision by then.

I'm with Laneth.
And Aesyra smells.... (Either like fish, or purdy)

Shouldn't do it anyway. He should get off his ass and do some quests for karma. ninja.gif

Or just go kill some City enemies. 15% Karma there. The mind boggles at their karma capabilty..

*boggle*

No, Amaru and his player won't appreciate it. But I don't think you can remove it, either, so it's done. You weren't involved in the combat, either, innocent, and that's what Karma/Avenger is there to protect.

Excuse me? Why do I 'smell'? unsure.gif

You can't remove it - only he can. His suspect list is probably huge, so it'd take him 75 karma to lose it. Or more. He'll have to wait it out.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I can't remove it. ermm.gif

I messaged Amaru the explaination. Hope he's less combative in the future.

The day when he becomes less combative is when hell freezes over.

Or Neurosurgery. Hell freezing over or Neurosurgery.

What the others said about the day that happens is when Hell is frozen solid. Basically had my mate threatened to be killed simply because she's my mate, and then had him procede to try and threaten any guildmate he found out 'knew' me, because I cursed him awhile back, not that he ever came through on his threats. Even if you could remove curses it'd still be better to leave it
