Heading to Orlando for Halloween Terror Nights and some other parks/things. Will be there for 3 days. Was wondering if anyone else was going or lives in the area that might want to get together for a little meet n' greet.

I live, like, three hours from Orlando (YAY FT. MYERS) but the thing I don't like about Terror nights is they often make you stick with your group. I opted for Fantasy Fest instead.

Well I heard they have like six haunted houses and there is one of them that they make you stick to a group. Who knows..

Just a fair warning...went last weekend to Halloween Horror Nights...and I have been there every year. By far, this years was absolutely terrible. I have been there when it was packed before, but for some reason they aren't really limiting the number of tickets sold. The lines for the Haunted Houses were 3-4 hours plus...and the ride for Back to the Future was 2 hours before it shut down for mechanical issues. My group that I went with ended up drinking Margaritas at the Mexican joint in the park and went home. As I said, I've been to every year before this, and this was the most crowded and most poorly run of all of them.

I heard the Haunted Houses were Great...if you were bored enough to wait for them.

Ewww. Well the one thing I don't want to do is wait forever for it. We were thinking of buying the express pass so we don't have to wait in lines but that is $25 extra. We saw there were $20 off cupons on coke cans and at Burger Kings but we can't find those in my part of Florida. sad.gif

Yeah, the express lines....those were only 1 1/2 to a 2 hour wait. I'm not kidding you...some people drinking Margaritas next to us were throwing a fit about them. You bypass a large portion of the line, until you hit the line for the express passes.

Don't feel bad though, I live in Tampa so I went to Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream as well. At least Universal has the parking and staff to handle big crowds to a degree...Busch Gardens does NOT! I must have seen about 30 fights in the park, and not a single security person in sight. College kids/teens combined with alcohol does not equal a good thing.

Me and my GF ended up riding two coasters (Sheikra and Montu) which took about 4 hours just to get on those. So frustrated we just left...

Luckily those tickets were free. Good luck to you at Halloween Horror Nights though, maybe you will catch a slow day.

If anyone lives in the Orlando area could you please send me a PM? Is something I would like to ask you. Thanks!
