Anyone know what's a good average speed to be shooting for?
I just got a new Raleigh M80 because my last bike was stolen and it's been years since I rode. I went riding for an hour and I swear I had to concentrate to lift each foot onto the next step going up to my office.
Also, anyone know about clipless pedals? Apparently you have to buy special shoes, cleats to attach to the shoes, and then the pedals?
*sigh* My legs are so out of shape.

Well I would just shoot for your personal best, and improve that by 1+mph everytime you go out, works for me, eventually you stop improving, obviously.
I believes you can buy a pedal and boot-lock system, without having to go clipless, but if you want to go clipless, that sounds about right.

That's what I'm wondering.
That bike is awesome. I wouldn't overexert yourself if it has been a while, because then your legs will start hurting and you might not be able to force yourself up those steps.
Your legs aren't the only ones out of shape.
