Herbalist's Stone

It just struck me. Whereas all of the other trade skills give an object of some sort at trans, such as the philosopher's stone, crown of the magi, field plate, and so on, the herbalist instead recieves only a passive effect. Since it was recently brought to my attention that the effects of the trans items stays with you even after the trade skill is forgotten, I thought it would only be fair that an herbalist would translate his or her herblore skill into an item, allowing him or her to keep the item and at the same time switch to another skill, like all the others seemingly are able to do. Any thoughts?

Nah, losing the item when you forget the skillset would be fair.

What about poison immunity? WHAT ABOUT THE (3) POISONISTS!

If herbalists and poisonists would get an item that confers the trans ability, people (those who didn't immediately need Highmagic) could buy lots of credits to:

1) Skillchoice select Lowmagic
2) Skillchoice select Herbs
3) Trans Herbs
4) Forget Herbs, keep item of faster herb balance
5) Skillchoice select Poisons
6) Trans Poisons
7) Forget Poisons, keep item of poison immunity
8) (optional) Forget Lowmagic

I think the item should be lost (for the other trade skills that give an item) when the trade is forgotten. It's odd that it doesn't.

I think the item should be lost for all trades, too, but meh. I'm not overly worried.

Wouldn't an entire rift full of free herbs be enough? tongue.gif

Ya if anything we shouldn't be pushing for -more- ways to keep Trans trade items.
