How is it possible to trade credits from Achaea to Lusternia? -really boggled by that-
Unknown2005-10-19 04:49:05
Essentially, you find someone in Achaea who wants your credits but has a character here in Lusternia with enough credits. You trade your Achaean credits to them in Achaea, they trade their Lusternian credits to you here in Lusternia.

Yeah, you just have to have a character in both places. This is fine, since credits are ooc, and transferrable for any reason.

Ack, sorry...that made no sense what I posted before. I meant:
OOCly bought ones are considered OOC.

ICly bought ones are considered IC.
Kayde2005-10-19 16:20:07
All credits are considered OOC, reguardless of whether they are bought ingame or on the website.

There is no distenction between website bought credits and ingame bought credits, they were all bought from the website at some point, or put into play by the administration.
Ashteru2005-10-19 16:24:00
Oh yeah, confused that with the thing in help credit transfer

The rule for credit transfers
-----------------------------
If you gain/acquire the credits in an In Character manner, then you cannot
transfer them between your seconds. If you gain credits in an Out of Character
manner, then you may transfer them freely.

Yes.

Richter is correct on this. I could, if I wanted to take the time to look, tell you where every single credit in the game came from originally.

Next time I buy credits IC, maybe I'll pester you and see if you'll tell me where they came from. ninja.gif

Oh it does raise the question though, are credits themselves an OOC concept? Is it acceptable to mention "credits" in an IC forum like a channel? I would imagine so because there are regular news posts about city, guild, and commune credits but they strike me as a rather OOC thing by their very nature and source.
