I couldn't see any credits on the history section, but whoever wrote it gets my most sincere thanks. Even if this MUD sucks (I haven't even played it yet!) I had a great time just reading the history.

So whoever you are that wrote it, thank you. biggrin.gif

Ayup. Lusternia has the most engrossing and well-written history of any MUD I've ever played. This can be a downside, as well, because it gives you high hopes for the game's roleplaying, many of which are quickly dashed.

The histories are so good, I want to see a book that goes deeply into all of them.

I -think- I remember Liseara saying the Estarra wrote the History.. I could be wrong on that, but I'm pretty sure that's who it was.

and ya, they're pretty awsome wink.gif

Edit: oh ya, if they came out with an Elder wars(only part of the Histories not released to us yet) book, I would -so- buy that!

Yeah you get people (1 person) shouting the words to a very very popular flash movie about the end of the world. Kinda ruined that whole day.

Who was that again? I think the forumname of the player was Quido or Kuido or something...can't remember.

Yes, it was Estarra... infact She threatens to kill any of us that even try to offer to help touch the history...

Does that mean a journal from the perspective of an historical figure for Bardic would not be appreciated?
Gwylifar2005-10-23 14:50:57
Hmmm, my first bardic was a journal from just before the Taint Wars (with translator's comments) and my second was set during the Taint Wars, and both took prizes, so I don't think that applies to Bardics.

Estarra just don't trust Hajamin writing skills.
Seeing as he's a coder, I can only agree with her opinion wink.gif
