I was half joking in the Divine Intervention thread, but it might not be such a bad idea.
NEXUS PEACE
- Can only be done at the city/commune nexus on the prime plane.
- Costs 5,000 power, with power gain from totems/supplicants/spikes halved for that month.
- Covers your prime forest or city in a spell of peace that prevents ALL violent actions for one month duration. Guards will still be permitted to defend, however.
It can't really be abused that much. Guards can be marched to any intruders that want to play silly-buggers. Totems/Statues still fire. Just gives a battered organization a period of total security for a short time.

for 6,500 power (for us, not sure how much the cities get for spikes/supplicants a month) this would just be yet another power that's to expencive to use, so no one would use it.
Serenwilde has live forrest.. when's the last time we used it when raided? ...ya think I proved my point there, it's the same for distorting villages, I think maybe 2 or 3 villages are distorted now, because of the power. and that's 2k untill revolt, this would be 6-7k for a day real life? and who would be able to cast this spell? the Leader+3 GM's? or even +3 champions? Whenever such a power -might- be actually best to be used, it's just because those people arn't around, and so the enemies see an opening and strike.

We should be able to nexus distort our freaking city/commune for 1k power each year. I'm tired of people teleporting out after raiding.

I had it used on my when I was mulching trees.... yeah.. Live forest.. its not so spectacular

And I don't think our Ethereal guards have EVER been buffed, certainly not by me. (Archways make it so we never even have to, plus there's the whole golden honeycake thing going on...) Is Rally used either? I haven't seen it. The trick is GETTING guards to someone, not really having them survive. For us, anyway.
