So...some of you might be wondering about my username, taken from the excellent Dreamcast game Skies of Arcadia rather than something or other from Lusternia. Simple couple of reasons behind that. 1)I might have other characters someday, so why go with one? 2)I use Vyse of Arcadia everywhere on the net. If you see something or other by Vyse of Arcadia, it's probably me. 3)Skies of Arcadia was a really awesome game.

That out of the way, allow me to introduce myself. I am a nerd, I enjoy video games, MUDs, computer-related stuff, music, anime, manga, pen-and-paper roleplaying, and general nerdery. I also play the guitar. My character's name is Laer, a freshman novice Celestine. Lusternia is not my first MUD. I spent some time in Achaea as Erium, an Arcanist. However, returning from an extended trip from Achaea due to an overly busy summer and classes starting, I found that a whole lotta changes were made and I figured I might as well just start over once things got less busy. And so I started over in Lusternia instead. So far I enjoy it a good deal more than Achaea. It has a better skill system, I like the setting a whole lot more, and I've already made more Lusternian friends than in Achaea.

I also have a cool(or at least I think so) project going on. I'm blogging my character's activities. I think it's pretty cool. It's at Lusternia Chronicles. Check it out!

Oh, and for the record, I love any OS that's not Window$. I'm running Mac OS 10.4.3 right now, and I plan to get some sort of Linux distro running(I'm looking at Slackware) as soon as I fix my x86 box.

Just so you can better undestand.

Every 1 hour is a Day in Lusternia.
Every 25 hours is a new Month in Lusternia.
Every 12 days is a new year.

Then seperate to that there are "Weaves." Weaves happen every 0:00 GMT and represent the Fates reweaving our thread in the fabric which is Lusternia.

Channels are Aetherwaves or Aether Broadcasts that ride those threads or the fabric.

Ah, thank you. I think I got my time screwed up in one of those posts.(And the "weaves" thing does explain some of the more bizarre messages I've seen in Lusternia.) And I have been wondering if explaining away channels with Aetherwaves is acceptible. I wonder, though..how would one explain channels in other MUDs?

As for a Glomdoring character...one of these days I'd love to have a character everywhere...but right now I've got my hands full with just Laer! Of course, it would help if I wasn't taking 16 hours of classes.. *shakes fist at Calculus and Honors Literature*

Also, Gilder is the man. Vyse isn't bad, better than that accursed prince at least, Drachma's not very interesting, Aika needs to let her hair relax by all the gods, and Feena is actually pretty cool too.
