If you have the choice between playing Lusternia and say.. doing homework or -any- kind of work that you really don't want to do but that you should do.. what do you do?

Get the work done. Don't get used to playing Lusternia whenever you face something you don't want to do: you end up getting used to having that outlet to dodge work. Don't do that.

(Meh, I've just finished my Psychology for this semester. Now, linguistics in 6 days. I'm sorry if I find ways to weave THAT into polite conversation..)

Doooo your work. Lusternia will always be here, but education takes priority. Little grades add up horribly.

Well, as long as you're occasionally studying it shouldn't be an issue. The only reason I do my biology (Which is similar to your example) is because once I get to the exams it's like "WTF IS THIS??"
