Exactly how much do wiccans depend on intelligence for for powerfull their skills are? I imagine a high constitution and high intelligence race would be the best.
Sylphas2005-11-08 19:24:13
Yeah, good luck with that. You're allowed to have high everything, but as soon as your int goes up, your tankiness goes down the drain.
Wiccans don't really need that high of an intelligence. It will certainly help with Moonburst (I hear Nightkiss ignores int), but if you're able to kill with damage, you should be able to do it as a lower int race without TOO much trouble, especially if you can pull off Toadcurse.
Really, the most important thing by far is speed. After that, intelligence is a bonus.

So high equilibrium, high cons, and perhaps some resistances. Someone wanna save me the trouble of searching for it?
Narsrim2005-11-08 21:57:53
I dunno. When I have 15 int versus 20 int, I can tell a HUGE difference. I kill a lot with a lock + sensitivity and just raw damage. The extra int helps a lot.
Munsia2005-11-08 21:59:17
Wiccans that trans their main secondary are really tanky
Sylphas2005-11-08 23:03:26
You should be able to kill with that as a furrikin too, Narsrim. The extra int surely helps, but aside from Mugwump, the high int races aren't very compelling. It'd be harder and longer, but I think it'd be doable.
Munsia2005-11-08 23:13:17
Like nejii who is completly immune to magic attacks
Sylphas2005-11-09 00:02:08
Yep. And I don't think he was even trans magic. Moondancer furrikin can shrug off magic attacks like they're a gentle breeze.
Unknown2005-11-09 00:25:18
Lucidian, furrikin, mugwump, trill, and elfen seem to me like the best choices. I guess I will pick one for the rp factor as well.

Yeah, someone told me succumb gets blocked by trans magic so if I get to come back on a more permanent basis I'll see if I can break 120% resistance with a good dragonsphere.
Now if only my guild wasn't the only one who killed with magic damage. xD
Ekard2005-11-09 11:26:41
I dont think Magic stop Succumb.
Shiri2005-11-09 11:39:40
Well not stop, but makes the ridiculous mana drain less. I got drained like 1300 in one shot the other day, was told trans magic helps.
Ekard2005-11-09 13:11:38
I think it not, something else helps to drain less mana.
Shiri2005-11-09 13:18:43
Bah, well, fine. Guess I'll stick with 90% resistance or whatever I have now.
Narsrim2005-11-09 13:24:36
Trans Magic just makes Succumb do the same drain as amissio/lash (from what I hear). With no Magic, it does like 500 mana over that (potentially).
Ekard2005-11-09 13:40:16
Ok, so i was wrong.
Terenas2005-11-09 21:36:39
Going from inept to capable magic reduced my drain from succumb a little, so Magic definitely helps.
Ekard2005-11-09 21:43:00
So another skillsset to learn.
Icarus2005-11-10 07:09:05
My Magic is at Gifted and my max mana is 3434. Succumb drains me for 900 on first hit, I eat reishi straight away, but always get a second hit for another 900 before it is cured. So basically I am toadcurseable right after I am succumb'd.
Eiru2005-11-10 09:15:18
Boohoo mister I can kill frogs in two lunges
