That just made me realize something. The reason the Admin laugh at that request is that there is plenty of reason to go up to those planes. But only as a group. And the Admin wanted it to be as a group. What it sounds to me is more like people want to go there as individuals.

I'm wondering if we could open up a area that is full of wussy soulles creatures. And turn it into a big game of king of the hill. Whomever stands alone on the top of the mountain gains some personal power gain. So like, for every minute your on top of the mountain you gain 1% max health,mana,ego. and every 5 minutes that your off the top of the mountain you lose 1% of your max till your back at normal. People can fight and sit there all they want and become all nice and buff. Or maybe instead of a % of mana,health,ego.. you gain EXP, but when you die there you lose more then when you pray because the soulless come and devour a part of you.

Anyway, what I'm saying is I think a small group of people need a place where individuals can fight with eachother and to leave the major conflict to groups instead of just one or two people destroying a community. (Such as when Alger would take on all of Celest)

And I'll say it here again. I LOVE that Idea.

And maybe make a second area with some old shrine in it or something, and the Supernals, Demonlords, Moon AND Nightavatars say that we should go there and conquer it. If a certain amount of people from ONE community would be in it for so and so long, and if one or two of them made a little quest in it while the others guard, the shrine would be aligned to the city/commune that conquered it for one month.

It would be offplane, and the shrine would give HUGE benefits for the short time it's owned.
Communes and cities could call crusades and forestspreads or something on it, then all members of that city/commune would gain conglutinate for a certain amount of time for sacrificing some benefits if they gain the shrine the next time.

I think stupid games like this ruin things. The wild nodes event, for example, just irks me.

This suggestion is to Lusternia as Smash Brothers Melee is to the Legend of Zelda.

And it wouldn't be a game per se, it wouldn't be announced, it would just happen, like Faethorn did once upon a time.

Actually, I was thinking about it as being constat.

I don't like the idea. It'd be a neat novelty for a while, but then eventually you'd have one group (probably Magnagora) dominating, and half living there in order to run around raiding Celest with 30000 health.

Whats way unbalanced? How would you balance it?

You can't have "One group dominatiing" because only the single person in the top room would gain any benefit, and if you tried to switch off people benefiting no one would actually gain anything.

So Daevos or Kaervas would just sit there and gain the bonus as the rest of Magnagora guarded him and fought off others.

Replace it with power going to the winner's nation and it might fly. The idea as a whole sounds neat but they are right: we already have ways to boost a person's power to 'extreme' levels: this will just compound the issue.

Because Lusternia doesn't need more games that the really big people will win at. It needs more things to engage everyone.

Your obviously missing the point of this suggestion.


If people who just have nothing to do but PK are bored, a constant PK area that only gives advantages to the people who are doing the PKing would releive such boredom and take them away from all the other things that they can leave to people who are not so bored and don't have this need to PK everything in sight.

I was inspired by those various sci-fi movies where the prisons of the future are seperate dimentions where violent criminals do nothing but play king of the hill.

Because Arena events have no concequntial outcomes. No gains if you win, no losses if you lose. And everyone says that arena combat is not realy combat because of your lack of care of resources.

as much as people say that stuff about arena resources, I fight in the arena absolutley identically as to out of it, herb, sparkleberry enchantment and power wise, and I know a good lot of other people do as well

Know what makes most arena or out of arena games dull? (Wargames, wild nodes) Demenses. Wisp. Take them out and maybe we could try. Since that isn't a pleasing option to demense users, it just won't happen. With the new wisp changes, I wouldn't even want to participate in wargames. The same goes for most other activities.
