It would be nice if you could pour the contents of one vial into another.
Pour X into X.
Pour X into X.
Chade2005-11-15 10:16:56
I like it, about to lose 36 vials to decay a lot still with stuff in em, would be nice!
Unknown2005-11-15 12:09:44
I would like it, not just to make my potions never decay, but so I can organize my potions based on vial type *sagenod*.
Galatae2005-11-19 18:40:48
I had been toying with this idea a while ago... if it would be an issue, perhaps make it so someone skilled in pouring things into vials (poisonists and alchemists) can do it... otherwise, I'd love to be able to organize my vials like that.
Manjanaia2005-11-19 18:43:09
This has been asked for before hasn't it? If so, looks like there is a reason for it not to be in
Ekard2005-11-20 16:15:12
I like this idea too!
Soll2005-11-20 16:19:17
I like it too, though maybe you should lose a few drops as you pour it, maybe 1-5 sips depending on dexterity or some such, or just a %age chance of losing some.
"With precision, you pour the contents of a ruby vial into a sapphire vial."
"You pour the contents of a ruby vial into a sapphire vial, but you twitch slightly and a few drops trickle down the side, lost forever."
Could be a low discipline skill, or something. Discipline has few skills as is.

Wow. You'd think that if they could qualify for going through the portal they'd have to the ability to pour one thing into another...
Iridiel2005-11-22 15:21:55
if they allow you to go around with two swords and not to hack yourself into pieces, I guess you're able to pour one vial into another vial
But some drops could stay in the old vial walls or something

If it's worth anything, I know they have this ability... um.. either in Achaea or Imperian, maybe both. But then, I suppose we rather pride ourselves on NOT being Achaea or Imperian.
Acrune2005-11-22 17:07:03
Wasn't achaea unless they've done it since Lusternia came out.

Sucj possiblity would be great. I dotn want to ask alchemists to refill only this and this and this vial and i would love to have each refill in different vial type.
I would just pour them myself. But with those kegs around i will try to sort my vials again and refill in those that i want. But first i need to make new vials.

Arti vials are nifty, just too expensive.
Oh and yeah, I'm all for this idea.

Dear Admins, please add this neat skill, that will harm noone and will just increase our love to You.

Let's put it in all envoy reports.
silimaur2005-11-23 12:09:27
i thought it wasnt implemented as the reason alchemy makes so much money is because vials decay, and it kinda makes arti vials not worth so much
Iridiel2005-11-23 16:42:09
Vials decay anyway, but at least all those salves and potions they made you buy when you were a little novice don't get wasted due to lack of use (specially since I don't have time to heal myself when I am hit because in the time it takes to check the affliction, remember the cure and curse at the offender I'm already dead).
silimaur2005-11-24 14:16:45
build some reflexes!
