Any of you have it yet? What do you think of the system and games? I want! unsure.gif

Richter has one.

I personally don't think they're worth it until January, although I wish I had bought one just to sell it for $1,500 on ebay.

I won't make that mistake with the PS3 though. ninja.gif

I don't care what you think if you don't have the system yet, so post those thoughts on the other thread tongue.gif

Not my fault the games released are already on the original Xbox. tongue.gif

There's only one game scheduled for release in December so.. it isn't like there's anything to look forward to.

Yar, I have an Xbox 360!

And because I had store credit, and they still had not fixed their issues with it charging tax (and I already had credit to cover the tax) I got a "free" game. Also, since Oblivion wasn't out, I got a second "free" game.

So, I ended up with Perfect Dark Zero (the special edition one), Project Gotham Racing 3, and Quake 4. I was trying to expand my gaming horizons a bit, and get away from playing all RPGs (I'm terrible at racing games).

The system itself is amazing, everything about it rocks. Microsoft said that developers had to keep enough of the processing power available so you could pull up the Xbox menu at any time (change the music you have playing, check your messages, etc), so that feature rocks, though it doesn't work with original Xbox games, as they were not developed with this feature in mind.

I also bought the Halo triple pack, so I've been having fun with that, since I never owned an Xbox.

The only problems so far are that the fan is quite loud (comparable to my computer's fan running at full speed), but that can be drowned out with the amazing sound. Personally, I have noise cancelling headphones, as well as surround sound in my room, so the fan is not really a problem for me. Also, Halo froze once, but I'm writing that off as a fluke unless it happens again.

Everything for the system is awesome, and I'd suggest getting Xbox Live, as the entire thing is kind of built around that feature. Every 360 game has certain acheievements that you can do, and it shows which games you've played, and that goes on your gamer card, which other peolpe can see. It also gives you a gamer rating, which can be compared with your friends. Some of the things have a worldwide ranking, so you can know who currently has the high score in something.

Lastly, a feature I haven't used yet, but there is a system that matches you up with other people around your skill level for certain games, should you wish to take advantage of it. You suck at PGR3? Find other people that are terrible with racing games, and play to your heart's lame content.

So, go out and buy this system, it's a lot of fun. biggrin.gif
