Very Scary!
Richter2005-11-27 08:42:24
That guy is brilliant.
Richter2005-11-27 09:03:47
Note that it isn't even the normal box, it's one he made.
Sylphas2005-11-27 09:41:45
That's awesome. If he weren't blatantly trying to screw someone, i'd find it INSANELY funny, but it's slightly tempered by the fact that it looks like he's just covering his ass legally.
On the other hand, if you buy it without reading it and realizing what you're getting, you're a moron who deserves it.

Looks like the winning bid is 611 dollars. Not bad, for an empty homemade Xbox 360 box! It would do well in a mastercard commercial. Cardboard box: 1 dollar. Crayons: Free from childhood. Making 610 bucks off some schmuck who apparently can't read the entire description where you blatantly say "THIS ISN'T REAL"? Priceless.
Sylphas2005-11-27 20:24:07
Ialie needs to make up a box for Lusternia, and sell that. Hell, could even make it a bundle where you get Achaea, Aetolia, Imperian, AND Lusternia. Just have the Nexus URLs for each on a slip of paper inside. See how much you get.
Richter2005-11-27 20:34:40
Since they're all free to play anyway... *snicker*
Suhnaye2005-11-28 22:04:49
......
I wonder who the moron was who bid $611 bucks for it... And I wonder how long it'll take for some news agency to get ahold of this...

Check out the buyer's feedback, he apparently has misread something before.
Unknown2005-11-28 23:59:44
The seller isn't even a registered user anymore. Wonder if he got kicked from eBay because of this.
Richter2005-11-29 00:33:57
Some of the bidders were not registered users either, so I wonder how exactly that process works, as I'm not quite an e-bay guru yet.
Maedhros2005-11-29 02:51:29
ROFLMAO!
Iridiel2005-11-29 11:45:34
There's a bid retracted due to the seller changing the description, around one hour before the bid ended.
Some people look for nice auctions, mark them, and then go back the moment it's about to end just to make teh bid, so maybe that's what happeend to the buyer, if at the beggining the description was misleading.

I'm surprised you CAN change the description after someone has bid on it.
Iridiel2005-11-30 11:40:25
I don't know, never buy in ebay But I guess you can change it, as long as the product stays the same, for example to describe it better and avoid people asking you so much or something.
