The flying guy was inspired by a Japanese show where a guy in the intro dons the same equipment and flies through the air. They showed in on Mythbusters, and tried to replicate it.

It was impossible, dangerous, and didn't go far.

the sad thing is, that's exactly the sort of thing Arix would do. I mean, he goes skydiving all the time

The best part is all of your leaders would be sitting by the pool when you landed, and would get completely SOAKED! They would disfavour you for defiling the sacred water stuff and for getting them wet.

but it would be worth it, cuz I'd have a jetpack, and would have had the additional bonus of having soaked Meleris unneccesarily
