But when there's sparwho, what do you need a channel for? You just look and ask in tells.

I can't tell you exactly why psychologically, but I would listen to a spar channel but not be on sparwho.

Because when people arent on Sparwho they ask over the market anyway so why not make a spar channel for this. I mean it's the same as saying why do you keep the market on if you arent buying or selling. You just do

Uh... because. Not everyone bothers to list themselves on sparwho, but random people would be listening, you'd have more chance to get a spar.

I agree with this. Also, some people forget to SPAROFF when they don't feel like sparring. I keep getting spar requests out of the blue, -then- I remember to take myself off the list.

Good idea actually, and it'll also be useful for discussions of combat as well as strategies and whatnot. And since it'll be a public aetherwave it won't be exclusive like combat clans and none of the OOC.

Who says Munsia doesn't come up with good ideas once in a while.

From what was said earlier, if you had a channel it would be mostly filled with people yelling "Oh I so killed you! Rematch I had lag!"

From what I gather, Rage was OOC, and sounds like it was FOR venting and whatnot. This would be just as moderated as current aetherwaves. Look at Market. Do you see people going "I SO undersold you, *****!"
