Just curious, as a newbie, whether Lusternia is a good game or not and whats good about it and such.

Hmm..Lusternia is a good game in ---MY--- opinion, which should have ZERO % cognitive effect on your logic cycle and ability to create and or form your on coginitive opinions based on your own external stimuli..
IE
Play and See, the worst is you don't like it and are out a few hours, best scenerio you love it and find a new hobby.
The good thing about Lusternia, is that it is Lustenria.

You really have to play to see. You aren't going to get a useful answer polling a group of people who have been playing the game for up to a year...

Ignore them, they're just doing it so they can be funny. You would have to try lusternia out for yourself to see if you like it or not.

Lusternia is indeed awesome.

It isn't a game man, it's a hobby! For some of us anyway.

And for others, its life...

Do remember, there are people who still post to the forum though they claim to no longer play.

Why they would waste their time is beyond me, but that's the way of it.

I do. But that's because I'm depressingly crap at Lusternia, I can't afford credits and I don't have the time to play. So I come on the forums every now and then to catch up with things because I still like the people and the events.

The question you should be asking yourself is, "Do I have time in my life to be obsessively addicted?"

Some people are addicted to the forums instead of the game, it's quite strange.

There's slightly less conflict on the forums, and more roleplaying.

Are you doing anything to try to fix it? Jump back in and help to change it for the better, instead of being a backseat driver.

I did, for a long while. Then one day I saw the rock at the bottom of the hill and decided, maybe some rocks should just be left at the bottoms of hills. (Though ironically, I've accomplished more since then than I did before.)

Yep, of course. I find it amusing. When I was a player, anything I said was dismissed without consideration on this basis: "you're biased, you have a conflict of interest!" Now that no one can raise that objection, the fact that they can't is used to accomplish the exact same effect as the objection did. Exact opposite cause, exact same result; that's Lusternian logic for you. It's funny the way a brick to the head is funny.

Of course, even considering that, my posts are exactly as useful as 99% of the posts here. Like, for instance, the ones responding to me in this thread. Zero equals zero, so it's not hard to match it or beat it.
