Procrastination Success:
Working straight for 20 hours, I wrote a 17pg paper with 25 sources on Exercise Therapy and Behavioral and Psychiatric Medicine. Just turned the baby in *whoo*
The paper was assigned on August 17th, I had all semester to do. I started yesterday

Procrastination is my family's unofficial tradition. No matter what we (me included) have to do, if there is a deadline given then you can be 99% sure that the project won't be even looked at until 24 hours before the deadline.

You've got me beat, but here goes: A 5 page report comparing Karl Marx to Max Webber. I had 2 months to write it, but I didn't start untill the day before it was due. Still got an "A"

No idea on the length of it, it was a while ago, but probably my essay on critical thought that scored me a high distinction. Did that in the wee hours of the morning before it was due.

Science project for biology. Had 3 months to work on it. Started the night before. Got first place. Would have gotten an A in that class regardless.
Big math term paper for Algebra II. Assigned at beginning of year. started the morning it was due. Got 100%. Wait, we have to do one of those each term, and they're each due on midterm. That's....tomorrow.

A science fair project, didn't start it until the last weekend. I had to build bridges out of balsa wood and wood glue, and test the strength and write up all the crap that I had to do. I was technically supposed to let the glue dry for two days, but 4 hours had to do, because in two days it was due I half assed everything, and literally worked on it from waking until when I slept. I barely had time to eat. I got it all glued to my display board, and turned it in along with my report. I got a 98%
At the moment, I have a 5 page philosophy essay due thursday, and I haven't started it yet, because I want to get 1100 posts on forums first

Major english assignment i started and finished the lesson before. Our lessons are 80 minutes so yeah, i basically spent half of it doing it, and half of the lesson screwing around.

End of career project (a special project you do on your own at the end of the technical universitary careers, with a teacher to guide you. Often it's a full size application with around 200 page report and documentation on it).
Started it a week before it was due. Handed it on time. Thye still use it on my college
Then there was the presentation of said project (nice powerpoint, 20 minutes chat about the project, questions by the tribunal). Done in one day right before the day it was due.
And I got an excellent out of this. Worst days of my life though, my fingers hurt from typing so fast

I've been getting worse. Used to at least finish on time, but I've had a few assignments recently that I didn't finish until after they were due, one in particular that I started about 6 hrs before I had to start walking to class at 7AM to get there on time. Without securing an extension beforehand but thank heavens for lenient professors, digital submissions, and being a "good student" that apparently encourages such professors to give you a break. I got higher than the class average on it.
My favorite procrastination was way back in high school. Held off writing a paper for so long that I ended up writing it about procrastination and the current experience of writing a paper on procrastination and how horrible it was and how this experience was such a lesson that I'd be sure to learn it and avoid such things in the future. The teacher was happy about it, and I got an excellent grade.
Not that I want to get a bad grade on anything, but when I get good grades on things I procrastinate so much on and don't put much time into .... I feel evil. And happy, because I got a good grade! It's positive reinforcement of my behavior!
Edit:
Oh, and just thought of another thing, though it's not fully procrastination yet (ugh, see how bad I am?). 25 page paper due next Wednesday that's worth 55% of my grade, and I just went and got a book as a first reference for it. The Saturday after the paper's due, I'm supposed to be graduating ... if I don't get a C in any that class or the other class. My third class, I already know I got an A so that's safe enough. Master's program is two C's and you're kicked out, and I already got one from the summer.

24,000 word dissertation in a week. I nearly died from doing that.

Our Senior English final was to do a 6 page memoir, which was like 60% of the final grade, and I started and finished it the day it was due. Mind you, I already had a rough draft that had been turned in, and all I had to do was a bit of tweakage, but still...
