Normal faelings are inferior and always will be.

If you don't mind the fact that you'll be doing nearly no wounding at all, go for it. With surge, your health will almost rival that of a Shadowlord using surge... you'll just insta-die without it.

in that case go aslaran, they are far better as they are an unspecialized race

Faelings are actually a really good combat race even without being shadowlord. Sip bonus gives them the equivalent of an average constitution, L3 balance, high dex (not that that means much for non-warriors, but still), good charisma and high intelligence so you can surge pretty well as well (unlike shadowlords.)

see thats what i was thinking but it seems that no one has faith in'em. The only real draw back is bashing...10 str ewww. My hammers are Damage: 35 Precision: 193 Speed: 247 and Damage: 34 Precision: 182 Speed: 244 So i figure with blackeye and knockdown i would be good

Without the specilization you would drop quick to any damage knight even damage knights after the cap change would kill you quickly. Let a different bonecrusher get at you the knockdown would screw your curing a bit just enough to kill you. Our let someone like Ekard with pussiance hit you 2 lunges you die just as quick.

Anyway,aslarans are better. Unspec faelings are actually good with titan buffs, but fall short otherwise.

Yes puissance dose suck hence why i stopped learnign athletics at surge. But on topic if i went faeling my stats would stand like this: 10 str 18 dex 11 con 15 int 16 char and 4 size at level 71 about to be 72. So honestly other than the str it dose not look as bad when you think about it. Yea you got 11 con but you will be surging for about 1.7k health so you will have around 3.4k which is what i fight on now because i never surge as an aslaran.

Aslaran is awesome. The Faeling speed bonus is nice, but in the long run, you'll most likely regret going Faeling unless you're switching to Ebonguard.

Nah stay aslaran if you still want speed. If you want just wounding you could go for Elfen Lord but you wouldnt be as fast. Have to get a nice pair of morning stars
