Well I think it is about time Narses took his fighting more seriously... as in... not die repeatedly

at any rate, first thing's first... to choose a proper client.
I have been using Mudmaster 2000... I don't really like it and I do not think it's worth much... I might be mistaken here... this is why I am asking.

I am looking for a -free- client, and I do not intend on buying any systems either.

so... what is your recomendation regarding such clients?

I have no scripting experience... aye I know I am adding many limitations here but, that's how it goes

any other tips and suggestions would be most welcome.

Go mush get ethelons free system. Study it and learn how to script it then start working on your own. Would be your best bet how i got started

I am not really sure if anyone's interested but...
As a mere novice I tried out Mushclient with Ethelon's system and I found it overwhelming. For one thing it is rather basic and not really fits all classes, besides, for a true beginner, Mushclient is a rather complicated, though powerfull tool.
I use Mudmaster 2000 and I am quite happy with it, after finalyl getting some setting done and finding a script that will allow me to time things... it is rather simple and nifty tool all in all, and it is entirely free.
Also, it is very hard to use a system you did not build, getting used to all the alises and quircks is a pain... to each his own though, can't say I am not a beginner still... but I'm working on it!

Well... I don't know if it means anything, but I've got some experience with making some small combat systems on Nexus. It's just bashing and VERY basic healing, but it works!

Check out Imperian forums. MM2K is popular there and I know there are sites with scripts you could add in and modify.
