All I ask is could we have a short delay between each battle? It's extremely easy for someone to slip a higher level figurine in and instantly smash the others for their own pleasure, and since the initial length isn't high at all it's a quick money drainer.
Edit: And a confirm command to stop people from adding their figurine and then pulling the damn bell.

I think it would be fun if you could place money on the outcome.

Technically you can, you just have to make casual bets without built-in commands.
Ialie2005-12-26 07:46:41
Another command that would be nice if is something like INFO RING showed you what figurines were in the ring at that time.
So..
INFO RING
Within the ring:
A figurine of Ezyth Lvl 2
A figurine of Crow Lvl 50
A figurine of Shiri Lvl 1
A figurine of Ialie Lvl 1

Psh. We can't trust people not to put their miniatures in and pull the bell afterwards un warranted so I wouldn't trust this one either.
Team Miniature battles, and best of games would be nice though. I think I'll play later when different miniature options are available, but meh.. by then we'll have all sorts of high level miniatures. So toooorn!
Unknown2005-12-26 07:52:17
Get a ring built somewhere that isn't highly populated so that you can play in peace and buff your miniatures with people you trust. No reason to completely ignore the system just because a couple people are asshats.

Have I missed something?
Ialie2005-12-26 07:55:58
Yeah Richter. You are going to shit yourself.
Sylphas2005-12-26 08:01:19
This looks AWESOME.

Others should not be able to pick up your figurine from the ring.
Of course now we'd have to have some sort of.. ownership tags or something.
Not sure of the original syntax for carving miniature in the shape of others, but CARVE MINIATURE LIKE IALIE FOR ESTARRA would work.

There was a bookie type thing you could purchase in Achaea, we could always do that here, seeing as we have more fun things to bet on, basically they could set the odds and such, and people would bet, downside is, if the person who won bet more, and got more gold, then those who lost, put in, it came from your pocket.
Ialie2005-12-26 08:20:24
Can the cost to make a figurine be lowered to 1 powerstone instead maybe increaase gold?
Unknown2005-12-26 08:22:39
What's the current cost per blank figurine?
Unknown2005-12-26 08:24:36
Or no powerstones. That, or increase the base months from 25 to like.. 100? Paying three different people for one item is kind of and gets costly only for it to be gone in a few battles.
Unknown2005-12-26 08:26:14
Well it makes sense for them to cost alot of power to make, since they're quite complicated, though they should last longer, as they do cost alot, and are quite cool. Should last about 100 months, more if the artist is trans.
Unknown2005-12-26 08:28:09
I think the point is needing to win to get a very beefy long-lasting figurine..?
Unknown2005-12-26 08:30:07
Hrm, well you could make it, when they lose they lose x amount of months, but even if they win, they still lose some months since they would have been damaged, which means, they decay faster as they get stronger, even if they win.

Power from the enchanter, yes, but I'm giving a jeweler TWO powerstones just to make a blank figurine. Why don't tinderboxes and pipes cost powerstones then?
Nearly 2500 for one blank figurine (If you consider the 1000 gold standard per stone), and then whatever the artist decides to charge you. Afterwards you're paying the enchanter for a few charges (Which is also overpriced, unless it takes more power than I'm thinking) or another powerstone for an item that's going to last you 25 months* if not used, and perhaps less if you're unlucky.

Terenas2005-12-26 08:32:23
It should also not be possible to force someone to drop a figurine into the ring to fight against the owner's will.
Unknown2005-12-26 08:32:55
Er.. you pay 1k per powerstone? Dude, you're getting ripped off.
And only lasting a real day? Didn't you say just above they lasted 25 months?
