It was timed perfectly!

I just ignored all damaging effects to let sleep stick. Alongside that, Shinza was protection'd a lot of the time, and a lot of the time she was on the ground so you/I couldn't see them hit.

did you use your fetish much in that much? An interesting lock in sap is to get your demesne going minus damaging and bleed causing effects, and then hit with rounds of doublesleep fetish, and sleep and crotamine, then just spam sleep/charybdon to afflict them a bit more, and presto you've got yourself a crotamine kill.

else you could hit with chary and hope crotamine comes off (if you hit enough with it, i'm sure it will) else you can just get a warrior to envenom a dagger or something with it, and try to stab them a few times with it i guess. -shrug-

Thing is, that's expensive even inside the arena, since the fetish uses poisons up inside. And I used treebane to break limbs, but should probably use fetish since it'd be faster, and it's irritating having to climb down/up as the trees chuck people out and pull them up.

yeh, sunallergy does wake them up, so you'd have to get them to sleep again after each burn, which would be somewhat fun and interesting.

Anyway, thats pretty much my valuable and great advice for improvements, use more sleep, less bleed and play with double hits of charybdon, If i were you I would also be using mactans (gives chills, whoch knocks off eq) and your demesne also gives confusion (can't concentrate while confused), which would put them even further behind in their sap curing because they would have to sip sanguine, concentrate and mayeb sip fire too, not to mention curing 4 broken limbs, paralysis and web to get out of the sap.

when they are at the stage of having every possible affliction that stop sthem from standing or cleansing, you can start with the newbiekicks to bring them down.

Also in this offensie, be sure to encorporate stupidity, thats always fun too.

Yeah, he hit me with sap and I had to focus body in sap whilst he stabbed me with mactans. That and confusion .. meh. I just heartstopped, it wasn't worth trying to cure.

Le sigh. About all I can do is keep up rebounding and hope to get out of sap before i get hit with the demesne effects and be really screwed. So great Murph, now you've told him how to use it, would you please suggest how to dodge/cure it?

Since shinza was reading the scroll so much it shoulda been alot easier... She was off balance every time and it's easy to stick anything on someone who's continually knocking themselves off balance. People who make that reflex arent very smart.
Trying to go for a sleep kill when damage is up is kinda stupid though and ya you need to use your smudges alot more. One smudge. Raise. Sap. Treebane. Dont use treelife it is not something ecologists should use.
Just throwing chary alone should help screw up her curing since charybdon is masked she will have to diagnose and chary is easy to get if you know poisonists.

so, you wait for them to break your shield, and then start beating them, when you see them shatter your scroll of protection, then you need to shield whore again, until you see love potion make them lusted to you, then you have a window to read your protection scroll again, or just bust out some more offence on them for the win.

If this goes wrong, you need to have built in your system something to detect you being in the trees, and have it try to climb down whenever you are in them. Stay out of the trees and if you find yourself in trouble, get out of the trees, cure sap as soon as you get it before they can land any hindering afflictions on you, climb down, shield read scroll, reset your offence and re-engage.

The number 1 way to get your ass out of trouble in sap is to tumble out of the demesne, or at least a few rooms away and cure up.

Actually, dissolve takes only balance and does not require equilibrium, so they can void and dissolve with no pause between.
