Naturally, those who are following you when you fly will not be able to follow
you into the skies. Furthermore, if you drop an item that cannot fly while in
the skies, it will soon fall to the ground, and break if it is breakable.

I tried to test this with an empty glass bottle, to no avail. I think it would be pretty cool if this actually worked, although I don't know how useful it would be. Maybe items will have the chance of shattering on the ground, causing minor bleeding damage if someone walked in that room untill the shards of whatever broke were picked up. Personally I think it would be cool for the purpose of realism.

EDIT: Sorry, I really had to change the title, it was upsetting people.

This sounds good. Should do bleeding damage is someone walks through with bare legs, and bleeding damage when the thing shatters.

Try a shovel, those are the only things Ive actually seen 'break' here other than bones.

And a slight off-topic but slight relative subject: Could people not follow people into the skies if they can't fly? It doesn't make sense how they can get up into the air in the first place. Annoying how you have to lose people first before you fly so they don't get a concussion.

I wear steel from head to toe... the likelyhood of me cutting myself on glass, or even being hit by a glass shard when something breaks is pretty much nil.

And then suddenly, right as you say that, a flying bottle shatters, and your eyes are riddled with glass shards.

Two words.

Molotov cocktail.

I say why stop at breaking glass and molotov cocktails? How about powder kegs? It would be pretty cool if you could drop explosives while flying. It would hurt everything on the ground with collateral damage. It would be pretty cool for raids.
