Ive actually sent this in as an idea in game but I though id create a thread for the idea as well, this way the admin (if they read this) can guage player support or lack of from the replies.
What I would like to see is essentially an adaptation of Kegs that are used in alchemy but these will be able to hold drinks.
People could then buy shotglasses and refill their glass from whichever keg holds their favorite drink.
This would also allow a shopkeper to effectively setup a proper bar in their shop with a variety of kegs to cater for peoples tastes.
A shot glass holds 5 sips of drink so if you translate that from existing kegs that hold 100 potions each of 50 sips thats 1000 shot glass refills.
So please, whether you like or hate the idea.. post some feedback and maybe somthing will happen.

I think it should be equal across. 100 drinks a keg, put them in shots or glasses, it's your decision.

This is a neat idea would be nice if they could also fill bottles too

Poisons!

I don't think there are enough poison-generating denizens in Lusternia to fill a keg.

I imagine you could fill a keg of poison slowly, it wouldn't all have to be done at once

I think it'd be good if you could put regular food items in a basket, in a stock room. Instead of seeing that I have 200 sandwiches for sale, you instead see I have a basket with 200 sanwiches in it.
Helps with us folk that like to restock shops in bulk orders, so our other wares can still be viewed easily.

I think that if you price all items of a particular kind together, they're presented together in the wares list.

Yes you can and they are all shown together but if you price 200 sandwiches then anything else you want to have for sale wont be visible as only the first 200 items can be seen, Ive tried this
I love that related basket idea, food is often a fast selling item so it needs restocking far more often without the ability to stock in bulk

Yes and help Artisan with more sellable items, well you could do this, but i suppose you'd have to price each basket differently, and have a thing saying to probe each basket before buying, so you can tell what's in them.

sorry to be a tad off topic, but wouldnt a shot glass hold only one sip

Well, if a shot glass holds one shot, it can hold more than one sip, as a shot is definitely more than a sip, heck you could even make it last like 10 sips if you tried hard enough.
Rashidat2006-01-04 20:29:50
You want to make a keg to hold beer? Brilliant!

Try it for yourself
You can drink 5 times from a shot glass before it tells you theres nothing drinkable there

they really shouldnt be called shot glasses, they should be called midi's or somthing
