To my understanding, Angkrag rebelled because all of the junk went to Magnagora or something for an event. That's fine. However, if you read politics, you will see:

Subj: Political Upheaval in the Village of Angkrag

This day, the Village of Angkrag has declared itself free and no longer under
the sphere of influence of the Mighty Dominion of Magnagora.

That's all fine and dandy, except the village isn't free of influence at all. It is still distorted so no Magnagora enemies can magically teleport out -and- you cannot sanctuary, crusade, etc.

It would be very much appreciated if anything that is going to be done for event purposes is not masked to look like an ordinary village revolt. People have died and prayed (where under normal circumstances, would have conglutinated) because they thought it was an actual village-in-play only to walk straight into a distorted village.

That's lame.

Who died? I know I made them let Munsia out. Some of us have been trying to do the right thing.
Athana2006-01-11 07:36:52
Ya this screwed a lot of people up but we let someone rezz Diamante at least smile.gif

But not gero sleep.gif
edit: what do you mean -let-?
He was sacrificed rezzed. you had no control over that.
Ethelon2006-01-11 07:47:15
As in I LET him in to do it, then I let Diamante take his corpse. I had barrier up, which stops souls from leaving.

Considering something like this has happened before.. I think it tells you that the village will go up in a few hours for real. sleep.gif

No, I was told this was intentional and for an event. This isn't the same (so far as I know) as the Rockholm episode, which was all buggy.
Ethelon2006-01-11 07:54:36
What happened in Rockholm? By hte way, the distortion effects us also.

... event? blink.gif Makes no sense for me if it -says- the village went up but never really did.

I'm enemied to Angkrag and it effects me

EDIT: not sure about everyone else
Nymerya2006-01-11 07:58:19
But... didn't they die just recently? Hours, and hours, and hours after I told Munsia it wasn't up to be influenced?

Get unenemied. I know that I have never any trouble in Celest or Seren villages.

EDIT: I forgot to add:
Narsrim2006-01-11 08:00:12
Just to clarify,

Angkrag is still distorted. It seems the distortion is now affecting not enemies of Magnagora, but rather enemies of Angkrag. This is likely an unintended effect that resulted in removing the village from Magnagora's grasp, but not sending it into play.
Nymerya2006-01-11 08:04:30
I take the silence to mean yes. smile.gif

Why complain? Unless Munsia didn't tell you what I told her. In which case, bad Munsia? *shrug*
Narsrim2006-01-11 08:05:38
Nymerya,

Are you trying to argue that because you told a single person that nothing is wrong? Ego check.

A long time ago, Rockholm kept rebelling but it never actually did. There were like 5 politics post, but it never actually went into play. In this case, distortion did drop. The village was peaced, etc... but you couldn't influence anything. It eventually got fixed.

I may have an inflated ego, but I'm not bold enough to tell anyone that when something goes wrong, they shouldn't be concerned if I had told them about it.

Aside from that, this has no relevance to the topic and is more or less a personal attack.
Nymerya2006-01-11 08:09:25
Hmm... so one person is incapable of telling others? Odd... isn't that how thing happen? *scratch*

What I'm trying to say, it's their own stupid fault for going in, -if- they already knew, which, apparently they did know it wasn't up. So, nothing at all to do with ego.
