I can't put a bench in my manse because it's considered indoors. Since we can't change indoor vs. outdoor (though I really wish we could), isn't there someway benches could be changed to only allow in outdoors terrain and aether?

I wish I could change my manse rooms.. maybe make it 1k to swap or something.

Maybe with Aether seeds the manse room should be considered an outdoor environment. After all, they do make gardens and gardens, in most cases are outdoors.

250cr for an outdoors room? No, there has to be a better solution. Can we make it so that players can turn the indoor/outdoor flag on and off? Pleeease?

Twas a suggestion for that item itself, as Gardens generally ARE outdoors (there are exceptions, I know and understand that, I am using a generalization)but yes, allowing furniture for outdoors and aether would be nice seeing as most gardens are within Guildhalls and manses. (And yes I know only some GH have gardens >.>)

No, no, no. I don't want to have to associate gardens with outdoors. It doesn't make sense that the only place you could put a bench would be a garden.
What's that one builder command from the olc helpfile? Something like REDIT INDOORS 0/1? That'd be a kickass manse command. Would allow for flying as well.

I was actually thinking perhaps there could be an artifact like the concealment stake for environments? Restricted use of course (perhaps longer than cameos) but actually giving the owner the ability to pick specific rooms they would like to have a normal environment while being restricted enough not to carry a huge credit cost.
This way when someone actually wants to have a forest type environment in their manse a survey could show 'Aether Forest' of course all restrictions and benefits would have to pass over. (i.e no paintings where they couldn't be)

I made the garden in my manse indoors on purpose, designed it that way and such, but I was pretty upset when I couldn't put a bench in the garden. Ahh well.

Ugh, not the old terrain debate. So far we've gotten a resounding "No", though I do believe my aethercraft skillset fixes that nicely.
And can you imagine having to pay credits for every room you want the indoor/outdoor flag set on? That's absurd, even for me. I might buy a lot of credits, but by no means do I waste them.

Please someone fix this.. I really want to put the swing I just designed in the balcony I'm about to add to my manse.
