I have a question for all you warrior whizzes.... is this dwarven battleaxe any good?

It is a one-handed weapon.
Damage: 223 Precision: 224 Speed: 178 (ie, a total of 625)

I almost forgot about it, but I bought it to cut down trees ages ago, and it has been lying on my shop stockroom floor ever since.

The total value of the stats sounds good, but I've never seen battleaxes being used very often, and maybe it is in fact pretty worthless.

If anyone can give me an estimate of how much this should be sold for, I'd be most grateful.

Those are 2handed weapon stats on a 1handed weapon...... if I had a pair of scimitars with those kinds of stats EVERYONE would be crying overpowered heh. They'd hit harder then broadswords and wound as well as the best scimitars you can get post-nerf.

Hmm, maybe its just a typo, and its meant to be a two-handed weapon then?

That tthere is a pre-axelord axe where all axes were one handed, and ment to be used for chopping down trees.

Melachthon told me only 3 of those axes still exist, and I don't think he knew about yours, since you didn't know about yours... they are priceless.

An axelord with two axes... *drool* alternatively, you could bash your brains out with taht two of those and become a titan in little under 20 minutes

Mine were removed by the admins. Being Taurian way back, I had about 8 high stat single handed axes sitting in my pack. One day I logged in, and they were gone... pity.

That there is a one handed axe meaning its just for choping also its not even that good not sure what the big deal is. Since no knight spec can use it its pretty useless except to chop trees. Also being the axelord i am we can only use two handed axes to get any wound afflictions so its i guess its good for chopping trees doubt you will get much for it though.

Just because you can't get the wounding afflictions with it doesnt mean you can't use it in pvp. The precision and damage are still factored in the same. Wield it with a scimitar (the speeds being about right) and wound with blademastery on the second swing. I used to wield an axe and broadsword when I was low level blademaster, it worked fine on arteries and tendons.

Hmm, I'd probably prefer all weapons were balanced fairly... but since that rule is not applied consistently, I guess there's not much point in shooting oneself in the foot over it.
