Just a question for the admins, or whoever is in charge of the history.

QUOTE
GLOBGLOB: Leela, how's the Stone look on the Plane of Earth?

LEELA: Nothing right now . . . oh, there it goes. It's glowing like a bright star, Globglob. The geomancers are all cheering.

GLOBGLOB: Timmie? How's the Stone look on the Higher Plane of Shallamar?

TIMMIE: It's glowing like crazy, Globglob! The Prophets here are smiling from ear-to-ear and all five of the Holy Supernals have turned out to watch, surrounded by a host of angelic beings.

But then, suddenly.

QUOTE
GLOBGLOB: Leela, what's happening to the Stone in Shallamar?

LEELA: There's some sort of surge here, Globglob! It's beautiful! Glowing rainbow colours are swirling around the Stone of Truth here.

TIMMIE: Nothing to report here on the Plane of Earth.

GLOBGLOB: Okay, stay with it, Timmie. Folks, it appears we're getting pure cosmic energy . . .

I have been puzzled ever since I wrote my bardic.

Who goes where?

Side Note: Check this out: http://www.daganev.com/TheTaint.gif. The mistake caught in a funny, funny way.

Also, pay attention to the BOLD words. Leela and Timmie switch places tongue.gif

I always figured it was some trick by Kethuru!

Globglob got away from the original cloud I thought... Maybe I misread? Its just it really seems he did cause he still talks normally and thinks clearly. And before anyone goes after that because of the group on Astral could do the same its because they channeled the energy that they survived and those engulfed in the ensuing cloud turned into for awhile mindless undead.

Edit: My spelling sucks..

Hmm, I haven't read them for a while... but didn't he start calling everyone back to Magnagora?

ie, *borg voice* 'Everything's fine... come join the collective... resistance is futile'

And yeah, maybe this is just a typo, well-spotted!!

Everythings fine, healers needed to tend to the wounded. Everything will be fine in the time to come, dont worry. Need assitance getting everyone out, etc.

Those types of messages. I dont know, I think only an Admin could answer accuratly whether he survived or not. But they probably find our assumptions amusing and prefer to not tell us the truth while they still get kicks out of it happy.gif

Wether he survived or not is going to be determined by the only god the admins follow, the god of dramatic necessity. Even though he would've died of old age anyway.

QUOTE
The live broadcast from Magnagora came nine hours after the initial transmission abruptly ended. Though the speaker introduced himself as Globglob Mesherbrub, there was considerable doubt and uncertainty if it was the same mugwump as the voice was substantially altered in both tone and modulation.

To me that says Globglob got tainted.

And personally, I don't think its a typo since its existed for so long.

I think it's a typo, can't think what else it'd be.
Richter2006-02-02 16:54:55
Looks to me like they just got switched around.
