QUOTE
the steelers are going to completly OWN the seahawks.

I did call it, but I think the whole thing was fixed. The refs took a touchdown away from the seahawks and practically gave one to the stealers. also, what were the planners thinking? rolling stones sucked - no one wants to see mick jagger gyrating anymore sleep.gif. Aaron Neville? Ugh, that was horrible.

the whole thing seemed like one big let down.

Yeah, the halftime show was pretty bad. I would have muted it if I were watching it alone. Commercials were the highlight. In fact, I watched the commercials, and changed my laundry during the game. happy.gif

I'm curious, did the fact that comercials can all be seen online now, decrease the number of people watching the game? Thus reducing the desire for companies to make cool comericials?

Actually, I liked the game. It was alot more fun than the BS "500000 to 1" point games that used to show up too much.

As for the penalties: honestly, I agreed with the penalties that came. Every one had a clear, if senseless, display of the rule being broken. The Seahawks had the skill, but just messed up in stupid stuff. Remember the mess 1 minute before the Half when Pitsburg called a timeout? Note that the Hawks, who were still behind, never used a timeout? Blah, I'm not expert in the game, but that reminded me of a novice going into a spar without pennyroyal.

There was, imo, realy only one penalty that was Blah and one penalty you could argue. The Blah was the touchdown-that-didn't-happen for the Hawks (I still don't know what caused it, and also don't know why it wasn't challenged). The other was the Flying Quarterback, which, in the end, I had to agree wasn't TRULLY easy to counter. Even with BOTH, had the Hawks not have done stupid things like cause penalties for no good reason they would've still won it.

Barring all that bruhaha, the game WAS good. Both teams played well and the that triple-throw mess that scored the last touchdown was a trip to see. Also, I'm loving Pitsburg QB wub.gif.

As for the commercials. Gotta love Magic Fridge, though there were too many Blah commercials.

As for the half-time, not EVERYONE thinks the Stones stunk. I'll leave it at that.
