I'm asking for a few tests conducted by you high-level warriors, please.
I would like to see how much damage and wounds the average assault/cleave/crush/whatever does, with different weapon extremes. All you'd need to do is hit a nonwarrior five or so times in the arena, and post the results, and I would be most grateful.
A format which would be nice:
Target: Elryn (Faeling Hartstone)
Target physical defence: Robes (41/57), raised hood, transcendant resilience.
Target maximum health: 3023.
Target sips for: About 400-600.
Attacker: Elryn (Faeling Hartstone)
Attacker current stats: 7 strength, 18 dex.
Weapon: Flail (200/200/200), no runes.
Average crush damage: 300.2 (out of 5 swings)
Average crush wounds: 434.1 (out of 5 swings)
(I think thats all the important info, but add more if you feel it necessary).
Many thanks.

Target: Penelope (Faeling Shadowdancer)
Target physical defence: Robes (55/50), raised hood, expert resilience. (No nightkiss)
Target maximum health: 2850.
Attacker: Xenthos (Faeling Ebonguard)
Attacker current stats: 13 strength, 18 dex.
Weapon: Rapier (44/229/205), Rune of the Puissant Knight.
Average lunge damage: 139 (out of 5 swings)
Average lunge wounds: 592 (out of 5 swings)
Strikes- 370 wounds, 139 damage.
Lunges- 592 wounds, 139 damage.
I didn't get any variation on these, it was always 139 damage whenever I attacked, but wounds increased considerably with lunge. Still, six lunges without her applying even once had her just to heavy, not critical.

First of: I want this rapier!!
You didnt do huge wounds cose of 13 str. In my hands it would be a lot more.
But you are a lot faster then me.
And i belive that damage and wounds should be same in each attack. Damage can be different if you hit in regeneration tick.

Some raw numbers, due to Ciaran using my rapiers for testing purposes (he'll have a full report later, but I've been doing calcs on what he told me).
He's trans pureblade.
With my rapier, he did 730 wounding with a strike, 1100 with an assault (which somehow worked with a rapier, don't ask) versus Penelope (same target, same armour, same defences, etc).
Now, cut off 30% from these due to the champ helm he was wearing, that gives 561 wounding for a strike, and 846 for an assault. This gives a % difference in wounding of 34% from the 370 I did for a strike, and 30% for the assault.
My strength was 13, his was 19. % difference with this is 32%, which is right in between the two percentages that he was getting for assault and for normal strikes. This means that wounding is based pretty much *entirely* on strength, as our dexterity differences of 7 (18 for me, 11 for him) didn't really knock it out of the general vicinity.

I know strength affects it. Check my recent post, I just had a much stronger person go through. And really, level 3 bonus doesn't counter that kind of extra wounding PLUS the extra damage from higher strength.
