I think it would be nice to remove the 5k gold to recall, then resubmit a private design. It doesn't cost anything to resubmit a rejected design, so it makes no since to have to pay 5k to fix something that would get rejected if you didn't fix it..

and plus I don't have 5k and I don't want to be killed by the person that designed it for their manse.. wacko.gif

It... still costs me money to recall and resubmit.
Joli2006-02-14 03:01:18
Should change..

It just doesn't make sense if you try to fix something so it doesn't get rejected and have to pay 5k, but you can wait.. have the charites waste their time and reject it, then resubmit it for free.

I'm currently in this situation as well. I realized after submitting a design that I forgot to include the primary noun in the dropped description. I can either recall it, fix it, and resubmit it now and lose 5k, or I can wait for the charites to reject it, then fix it, and then resubmit it later for free. The latter is more work for the admins, but cheaper for me. Meh sad.gif

Oh, and on this note, if any of the charites are watching, can you please reject design 2456 already? It clearly violates the rules by not having the noun in the dropped description, which slipped my mind. I realized it just after hitting submit, and I don't want to spend the 5,000 gold it will cost me to recall it and fix it. So, I need to wait for you people to reject it before I can fix it and resubmit it sad.gif

I left out the noun in the appearance and didn't know it would charge 5k. 5k I don't have. So.. I just have to rat or something.. losewings.gif

No, that was rejected for other reasons, which I sent Sidra a message about tongue.gif

EDIT: And your vest was a public design, and thus free to recall and edit

You can't use the word halter as part of a design? That's moronic. Especially with the reasoning that its too "modern"

The term "halter" as a noun refers pretty much exclusively to things that go around the neck. Its a device used to lead animals, as well as the term used for a noose. Yeah.. that's modern.

There were also two halter shirt designs that were approved, both submitted by me.

That's weird..
Shorlen2006-02-15 05:51:29
Ugh, and I'm such an idiot. They rejected the design that was supposed to be rejected, I fixed the problem and immediately resubmitted.... forgetting to clear the comments and put back in the comments I wanted in there about the dress sad.gif Ah well - I'll have to deal with seeing the rejection reason every time I look at the sketch. Meh. Really wish I could recall/resubmit without paying the fee again sad.gif
Aiwendil2006-02-18 10:32:08
Why are there comments anyway? Just to indicate extra stuff like "has a hood"?

Comments = comments for other tailors about the sketch. They're also where the Charites put why they reject your designs. But, if you don't clear them before resubmitting them, the rejection reasons are permanently a part of the sketch, which irks my obsessive compulsive nature.
